3 unit plays:
st.bonaventure (-1.5) over kent state
kentucky (-2.5) over indiana
ucla (+14) over kansas

2 unit plays:
unlv (-6) over stanford
tennessee (pk) over west virginia

i gotta admit- kent has really played much better than i expected out of the gate this year. i really expected some transitional growing pains from them, because theyre now on their 3rd coach in as many seasons. even the elite 8 team from last year struggled IMMENSELY early in the season to adjust to heath's system. and that team was loaded with seniors. now a younger kent team seems to have adjusted to playing for christian with little to no problem. im impressed. but theyre now playing their 3rd road game in 7 days, and bonaventure gave them all they could handle in kent last year. bonnies tempo will make it tough on kent state. they really looked good vs an overmatched canisius team a few nights ago, and that momentum should propel them to a win and give kent their first loss

ucla is an ugly play. i admit that right from the start. but it would be so like ucla to hang around and actually have a shot to win this game. this team is easily the most jekyl and hyde team youll ever see. lavins teams have no consistency. the rule i basically give to ucla is they are NEVER as good as they appear on some nights, nor are they as bad as they appear others. and my god were they bad vs northern arizona. but i think theyll have a good showing.

good spot for unlv. rebs have had some confidence building wins vs weaker teams. now they catch stanford in a brutal spot for the cardinal. stanford playing seemingly their 14th game this week, lol. rebs should get it done. cardinal likely an exhausted team. they got back on the winning track vs irvine, but line also tells me to play vegas. rebs cover.

Hey Gman, I had Kent circled as my game of the day, I noticed that you are from Ohio, so I don't take lightly what you say about kent. But this is a good team, shooting 55% on the year, they have covered all three of their road games as well. The bonnies shooting only 39% on the year.

As far as road weariness, I don't believe Clev. state or St. Bonnie was that long of a trip. Also, the bonnies, played on Thursday, so they only have had one day of rest. I assume school is out currently, so they will have a little less of a home court advantage.

Just curious to hear what other reasons you like St. Boneventure, for. Line opened at 3 and has already moved to 2, I believe will be about pick at game time.

Hope to help w\a little info.

Bonas road game Thurs was less than 1 hr away. And they were off for 10 days before that for exams. This is a fresh Bona team. They had great energy and legs ag the Griffs.
This is their 1st home game of the year at the Reilly Center. The students ARE out on break-but I would still expect a packed house as the locals have nothing better to do.
Bonas shot almost 50% from 3 and are improving from the floor and have upped their FT%.
They can play w\Kent and even beat them. 3's gotta fall though.

adding: 2* missouri (+1) over illinois

going against the line movement here. case can be made that smart money is on illini, but i think snyder will finally get one in this rivalry series.
