Season 11-5-2 +8.3 units
Yesterday 1-3-1 -4.5 units

Well the money train came to an ubrupt halt yesterday. Can only get better, but its a long season. Mike James jumper for Boston will continue to haunt me, but such is the wonderful world of the NBA.

Indiana -1.5 1st half 1 unit. Indiana had a nice win at Detroit to open the season and then well, I'm not sure what word describes last nights performance. They not only got beat by Milwaukee, but basically got embarassed. They didnt exert too much energy in the 2h after the first 5 minutes, cause game was basically over. Atlanta has their home opener. They hung real tough with NO, and exerted a ton of energy to be tied with Chicago with 1 and a half minutes to go, but fell apart. Home opener for Atlanta, but Indiana is by far the much more talented team. Both teams have a 3rd in 4 situation tonight, but Indiana should show some pride and come out strong early.

Orlando -3 1unit. 3rd in 4 situation for both teams although Orlando actually has the one day of rest. Orlando showed some guts to come back and get the win against the Knicks in their first game down 7 with a minute to go, and had a real tough loss in their home opener against New Orleans. Detroit looked bad against the pacers and decent enough against Miami, but who wouldn't. Detroit should be able to get some points down low as Orlando doesn't have much size, but in the end Orlando is going to transition the hell out of them and get too many points on the break. McGrady and co. will want to run and should be able to do that against a slow Detroit team and pick up their first home win.

Minny moneyline and N.O. moneyline parlay 2 units(win 1.54). Rarely do I parlay, but I think I found two games I like to win, but don't want to mess with the spreads with and I never play teasers. Minnesota got embarrassed last night on national tv. They should come back strong and their home court advantage is huge in the NBA. Toronto 3-0?....when hell freezes over. Washington gave them the W yesterday. Another team although thats looked good early shouldn't get to 3-0 is Boston. That win against Memphis yesterday took a lot out of them. 3rd in 4 for both teams, but New Orleans had the extra day to rest. Although winning their first 2 is impressive for Boston, beating Memphis and Miami isn't super impressive. New Orleans is far superior to either of them, and I'll take my shot at home.

Dallas -7 1st half. For the last couple years although I don't have stats to back this just personal memory is that Utah is a 2h team and Dallas at home gets out to big leads. Regardless of Utah beating Portland opening night, this team will be lucky to win 30 games. Home opener for Dallas, I just don't see any way this team isn't up by double digits at the break. Utah is a slow team and has no one who can run with the tempo that Dallas will exert early on.

San Antonio -7.5 1 unit. Will the real San Antonio please stand up, please stand up. Are you kidding me, losing to Denver and shooting less than 30% for the game. They've had 2 days off to right the ship and coming home should help. They get a New York team that can't score besides Houston and Van Horne, and Duncan should be able to shut Van Horne down. San Antonio is lucky to have 1 win, and tonight should be their break-out game to get their season rolling again. Parker still questionable for tonight but I read somewhere he might play. If he does its only an added bonus. San Antonio should roll this Knicks team.

Good Luck to All
