record now 6-3 here. Posting some of my early stuff, maybe more if these go well in the afternoon:
DePaul -15
Fla Int. very bad and have lost by 27,34,and 25 on the road to the 3 quality opponents they have faced
Fla St-9
State a very athletic and talented group, Only road game Nebraska has played so far they lost at Creighton by 26.
Washington -4 1/2
Arizona looked good the other night playing against Wash St., but State still has some stiffs in their lineup. I love Dick Bennett as he coached only a few miles away from me at UWGB for a long time, but still can't recruit a lot of great athletes, as I don't think the great ones want to play in his system. Zona won't by playing against any non-athletes here. It's always tough to play great back to back on the road.
USC -3 1/2
I hate to over react and go against a team that is coming off a real bad game, but it really looks to me that Stanford has really slipped badly and is only getting respect in the line because of their past reputation. Hope I am right because when you lose games like this you feel like a rookie bettor again getting caught in those trap games!
So what could be sharper than posting 4 favorites? lol - good luck!
