Morning all.

Quikie here in the morning:

Akron -1 over VCU......Zips, a very senior laden, experienced team have a great home court edge. The seniors who form the core of the clube are 50-3 SU at home in their careers......they just lost their last time out on their court, so I expect their best effort tonight. Zips coach said Akron's top player Jermiah Wood, out for the last few weeks with a knee injury has been practicing well and hard all week. He will go today and give the home team the boost needed to push opast CAA leader VCU. I really hate going against Eric Maynor, a cliutch player, but I am riding this home court edge that Akron has.

Adding:

Cincy +14 over Gtown. One team is a final four contender, the other is a .500 ball club who many say have over acheived. A mistmatch, right?

I dont think so. Cincy is 8-5 in the Big East and could easily finish as high as fifth place, even if they lose this afternoon.

The Bearcats are 14-4 ATS in their last 18 games, 12-3 in the last 15 as a dog and are 5-1 as DD dogs this season, including straight up wins in Louisville and West Virginia.

The Hoyas are winning, but not covering. They are just 5-9 ATS in Big East play, and are just 1-5 ATS at home in league play.

Think this game is played in the 60s, a pace that will help Cincy stay in it. While the Bearcats dont appear to match up statistically, they play good defense and are among the top echelon in defending the three ball. This will be a low scoring game and feel the Bearcats can stay within single digits.

Adding:

UK -1 over Arky.....love the way Cats have been playing since league play began, 8-3 ATS and SU. They're 5-0SU, 4-1 ATS at Rupp in SEC games. Big two game home stand here with Ole Miss next week. Gillespie has righted this ship. I loved playing on his teams at Utep and Tamu, and they've been a good bet so far in his first go around against the SEC.

No Ariz -3 over Witchita State......Shockers just aren't any good this year. Feel the Lumberjacks will just blow them out of the building today.

Need Drake to hold on to the cover to net a .500 start......UK was a big winner fir me, Akron painful and Nevade just plain stoopid.

Onward:

Murray State -2 over Indy State......dont we all just sit around and wonder how an elite Ohio Valley team would match up versus a also ran from the Missouri Valley. And, tonight we find out! Awesome. Anyway, all you need to know here is Murray is 12-1 at home this year while the Sycamores are 1-12 away from Terre Haute. The Racers are a program geared towards winning year in and year out. This is not a step in class for MSU. Indy St is playing well as they have in years, but still are just a .500 MVC team. Think Murray has too much for them to handle tonight.

Baylor pick over Kstate.....I am staying with "my" Bears in this one. I am 4-1 on posted plays on the Bears during the conference season--although admittedly, I had them both time against Texas, both ATS losses, on days when I was unable to post plays. Still, that is a small proft on a fun, yet pull-out-your-hair crazy team to watch this season. Tonight ought to fun in this one with KSU and their pair of NBA in waiting players. KSU is a little soft on their permiter defense. Baylor will go on a hot streak from behind the arc and seize control of the game. They have lost four in a row, their NCAA berth can go either way at the moment. But, KSU has not been winning on the road of late going down to Missou, TTech and Okie St in their last three away from home. Baylor is better than those foes, so I see that trend continuing for another game.

Good Luck!!!!

Thanks guys.

Cie, yeah I know what you mean. Had a lot going on in recent weeks--most of it play time--so I have not been posting much. I've still been playing on games, but just not around to post. I have to go back and update the record. Its nothing special, think the 5-4 day yesterday may have popped be back above the .500 mark overall.

Looking forward to a fun stretch drive here....closing weeks of the season and into championship week is among my favorite times of the year to bet on sports, so I am recharging.
