Marist -2.5 over Columbia ***
Like the Foxes today at home despite losing 6 of last 8 home games..but there is a new "sheriff" in town coaching the Red Foxes...Dunn from St Peter gets his 1st home game despite playing Marsit the past 10 years..now he sits on the left side of their home court..a defense minded coach..they lost to Army the other nite by a few..but Foxes with their help defenses drew 3 offensive fouls...last yr they had a total of 5...they return all 5 starters that lost 25 games last yr..so is that good or bad..with new coach thinks its good.. Parker is the stud...fell in love with him 3 yrs ago...a 6'3 lefty who penetrates,rebounds,shoots and dishes the ball...great handle on the ball..Funk is the 6'6 gd-fd who can hit the open jumper..the 2 big 6'9 inside players are Dozic and Sjoberg..they play facing the basket..think Dunn has them posting up...Lamb is a 6'4 fd who needs to step up his game..Williams will be Dunn's fav because he was the only Fox that can play defense..it might take awhile for this team to learn how to play because their past coach was bad..Foxes ranked 334th in defense..
Columbia lost 18 games last yr..but lost their big time player who went pro to Germany..they have a super pt gd in Smith and 6'10 Tape...they can shoot the 3 ..they have some solid gds that can shoot the 3..but inside they are weak...and their defense is terrible...one thing foe shore...teams playing vs Foxes who have to earn there shots..Dunn will contest the shots..that's his style..Foxes don't draw big so the crowd isn't a huge factor..maybe with new coach they get a crowd...Marist is known for having promotions like Boy Scout-Girl Scout nite and get another 300 people in their gym

Like Mary here...they have one of the best front courts in the Col conf...these guys can score..problem is they can't stop anybody..but think Lil' Dukies offense won't be enough
Nova -22.5 over Quinn **
Hate these huge numbers because Nova could be up 25 pts and Wright starts playing his subs...Qunn is bad and lost their top 3 scorers...they way Nova plays so fast it will be hard for Quinny to keep up

Air Force game was a night mare...I know the AF cadets have high Iq's but it isn't on a basketball court..they looked terrible...they got the score down to 5 pts and after being behind by 10-12 pts the whole game.. they get a FT made violation...foul with 1.48 minutes on purpose...mistake made by AF player..then down 6 and shoot 3 tre's from far out..why are they shooting 3's..you need a basket..all 3 shots were missed and AF fouled.. Tx St hit there FT's and the last 40 seconds it was the same..AF shoots a 3 misses and fouls...they did make a great comeback but so many terrible decisions... on 3 fast breaks it was 1vs 3 with AF with the ball and one..you pull it out not attack..all 3 plays missed and Tex got the rebound.. Tx did play good defense..the super star freshmen Harrell looked ok..think he will be good..but he's not 5'10..he is about 6'3 with his hair do.. I couldn't find him in the warmup line..sorry about the loss
