Surprised to see some numbers that I just love on the short home chalks. I'm letting it fly.

Buffalo -4 (6 units)
Kent St. -3 (-120) ( 5 units)
BG -2 (8 units)
Toledo -3 (-120) (2 units)
Wiscy Milw +2' (1 unit)

Im with you on the Flashes in this one. That 2nd half against BG might have been what the doctor ordered for this team. We all know how tough Kent is at home in conference. Miami's track record at Kent isnt so good and I look for more of this today. Kent's athleticism poses problems for Miami and Miami in their last 5 havent exactly played good basketball.

As for the Zippies this one has me a bit worried. Akron always seems to play well in BG and that is a tall order as that is a tough place to play. They have covered 4 straight against BG and I know it is a different team but Dambrot seems to have found the key to play against BG. Im still on the fence with this one but being a late a game on the U it gives plenty of time to talk myself into going against my better judgement. As of right now Im leaning towards Akron.

Good Luck Spang!!!

ps--- sorry for always using your MAC thread but I find it easier then starting a new one on the same games.

Any thoughts on N Illi. +11

I really wanted to take NIU today but just can't. Their poor defense and FT shooting is just too much of a reason for me to stay away. The entire west division is crap and Western appears to smell the least. Still ,I wouldn't even consider laying the 11.

Thanks for dropping by Outkast, I always enjoy reading your stuff.

I have been to BG for the last two or three Zip/BG tilts and you are correct in that the Zips have fared well recently. Anderson arena is no longer the imposing venue that it once was. I was really surprised by the low turnouts in recent years compared to the screaming throng that used to make BG one of the toughest places to play anywhere. This BG team is much better than the previous few teams, though their inconsistant play must be driving Orr crazy. I just think Akron will continue to be a good fade until they learn how to close out a tight game. They just are not there yet.

Kent down by a deuce at the half after a horrible start.

Good luck today
