Finally lost yesterday as the Braves go down 7-6. Man..are they pathetic...especially at home! Still on a solid run going 10-3 L/13 baseball plays (4-1 this week)! We move on to today.......
BLUE JAYS -1.5 -155
(Hernandez/Halladay must go)
*KC is 1-8 L/9 at TOR*
GL!! Ok....this play today reminds me of a play I had just over a week ago when I took the WSox -290 against these same Royals and KC kicked the crap out of them 10-4 at Chicago!!! From that learning experience I will "never" lay that type of juice again, so today I'm risking it with the runline. Again today, we have another team in KC who is just terrible on the road as they are 24-73 their last 97 road games and haven't faired well at Toronto recently. Now they face Cy Young runner up Doc Halladay at home! I expect another strong peformance at home by him today against KC whom he has an overall 3.24 ERA since 97'. Really hoping the Jays bats can put some runs on the board today as I don't like having to lay -1.5, but on the flip side there is no way I'm laying -320, so if the Jays end up winning by one run then that's just the way it is and I'll have to eat it. In Halladay's 26 starts this season the Jays either lost the game outright or won by one run 6 times in those 26 starts, so that's a pretty solid stat to back the runline today....crossing my fingers. :mj09:
*If any are interested in playing the CFL there is one more game this weekend that goes today and I have a play on it in the CFL forum. On a solid run in the CFL going 13-3 L/16 plays including 2-0 this week! Check it out....*
