the political function i had to go to today was cancelled so i have some time now. about the plays briefly:
nc state - this line overly optimistic because of navy's fortunate rout. navy has no answer for rivers, and state d line should be able to penetrate enough to stop the option. while amato not a run-it-up kinda guy, wouldn't surprise me to see him let buddy green hold a few after his tight-lipped departure last year.
la tech - not enough clemson d to spot this prolific offense dd's.
utep - i realize ky played a nice game opening against their instate rival, but wildcats simply aren't good enough to spot any div 1-a team three td's.
alabama - think this game plays out fairly low scoring so this number (i actually got 12-) seems like a lot to cover.
wake - ecu with a big dropoff this year at qb and running back and an undersized defense which should be dominated by the beefy deacons.
syracuse - heels same old tired offense with another qb with no patience or decision-making ability. difference this year is their defense can no longer make up for their offensive miscues.
mtsu - bigger game for the blue raiders than the vols; think mtsu puts up enough points to stay with 3 td's.
