last post was a pretty lame one. mixed in a potpourri of good plays, tough losses, and downright awful plays. played these overnight for saturday:

{all plays are for 2 units}

georgia (+5.5) over florida
unlv (+6.5) over depaul
cal-santa barbara (+7.5) over utah st
boston college (+10) over syracuse
oklahoma (-10.5) over colorado

harrick's guys are playing about as well as anyone in the nation right now. im a big gator fan- but this is one spot where im absolutely willing to go against em. gators off an impressive road win at mississippi state, but one thing i noticed in the first half of that game is that when msu controlled the game- they were physical with the gators and florida had some trouble with it. dawgs play physical- and i think this will be a great sec basketball game that will go to the wire

vegas has been a roller coaster spread team- but they are off to a nice start for charlie. theyve got really solid guards imo, and have played some pretty good non-conference opponents. depaul in a conference sandwich situation and off a tough loss to cincy. as long as unlv takes care of the basketball- which is my main concern since depaul plays pretty solid defense, i think the rebs will have a realistic shot to win in chicago

boston college is a game im considering playing for 3 units. gonna stick with 2 as of now- but this is one that i really like. seton hall took the cuse to the wire, but made some real boneheaded plays down the stretch that cost them the game. and boston college is in off of a loss to (gasp) northeastern at HOME no less. im confident that bc will bounce back and their recent 3-gm slide offers some line value here. bell has struggled the last 2 games, but he normally plays well vs the orange people. if boston college gets their a$$ handed to them- ill be very surprised.

ucsb/usu should be a great midmajor battle. usu is nails at home- but gauchos are a senior-laden team that is capable of playing well in the hostile environment. ucsb has had some puzzling losses this year- but im willing to look the other way because imo, this is a solid team and now that its conference time- they get a clean slate so to speak.

mixin in a chalk play on oklahoma. its really more of an anti-colorado play. the buffs are playing WAY over their heads right now. theyre a hot team- but i think okie brings them firmly back to earth and clamps down the defensive pressure on the buffs. sooners looked pretty damn good for the majority of that uconn game. i just think buffs are out of their league here.

considering a few more, but thats it for now.
