another choppy day yesterday one game under .500. lot of plays today dominated by dogs and more seeding plays. backing more dogs as tourneys go deeper as my approach views back-to-back tourney games as the great spread-squeezer. also, as you'll see below, i have a local that really overloads the favorites this time of year. hoping for the edge in the long haul.
marquette +9: marquette matches up well and in good form. probable low scoring game gives more value to the number.
miss st -5: perceive no line adjustment for third game in a row for a tiger team that has little depth.
nc state +11: as posted in jack's thread, need more good perimeter shooting and inside defense from the pack today, though don't expect the 72% 3 pt shooting they dished out yesterday.
wake +13: wake hangs if their big men play like yesterday. duke will want to save some gas, esp if terps walk over pack.
tex tech +13: rare play for me betting into the team with the bye, but knight never gives you a reason to doubt the conditioning of his teams.
richmond +6-: again, too many points in a probable low scoring game.
e was -2: don't know why i laid off these guys yesterday, probably because of the way weber st crushed port st coupled with their tournament rep. getting back on them today.
back with evening plays later. gl
