1-1 last night, nothing worth writing about. 30-26 overall, 3-0 *double plays*. so far for today:

s ala +20-: s ala coach delphey former player for pitino and should have his squad primed for good effort against mentor. no inclination for cards to run it up.

ecu +1: could be best team ever for pirates, herrion has really built a solid team. ecu showed me something when they won opener at mtsu, as blue raiders have decent home court and pirated had traditionally struggled on the road. this team could draw some attention in c-usa.

vcu +3: inter-city rivalry. spiders have been a little erratic, obviously still adapting to wainwright's system. i like young capel at vcu, and his players do too.

yale +3-: caveat emptor here, as box and one is on manhattan, and he knows his maac. just feel that elis are actually the better team; i believe this is their year in the ivy.

tenn tech +8: line should be about half this number imo. big ten name inflation at work.

more later.

Cleveland Oh
gonna jump on tenn tech with ya boys....it's hurting to do that but I think it is a smart play as well...they rely too much on Darby now...tenn could win outright if he has a bad day...GL

adding a fav:

adding a fav:

kent st -14: kent undervalued a bit because of significant losses to graduation, but they are still a deep and experienced club. redbirds are horrible.

night games:

night games:

night card loaded with regional rivalry games:

davidson +5: "hornets' nest" game for championship of mecklenburg county. '49ers still experimenting with lineup after losing starting center clemmons to torn acl. davidson the more motivated team at home.

murray state +1: taking a bit of a leap here looking for racers to bounce back in murray after quitting in last game at siu. murray veteran team, four returning starters from last year's ovc champions, added transfer pg rick jones, former ky mr' basketball. w ky still inconsistent.

se mo st +12-: nice spot for improving se mo. powerhouse siu has coasted in all home games, now travels for the first time to regional rival. big crowd expected in cape girardeau.

cal sb +3: coach westphal has done a nice job of piecing together a team after losing most of his frontcourt. for the first time in a while, gauchos bring the better team into the "war on the shore." like - dude - the wave can't snag any boards, except the surfing kind. gauchos bang out a win underneath.

san diego st +17-: don't care who he's playing, you can't go wrong betting steve fisher at home with a boatload of points. aztecs have won 14 of last 17 home games and tonight expect the first sellout crowd in the history of cox arena. appearing for the time tonight for the aztecs - frosh f evan burns, aztecs' first mcdonalds all-american, who just had his eligibility restored; also 7' oregon state tranfer chris manker.
