2-0 last night........6-4 YTD

Saturday
---------------------------------

1)Marquette(-5.5)..........Getting this one in early.

Taking the better team at home laying a very reasonable number. Marquette is better at shooting the 3 ball, better at the free throw line, better in the all important Defensive Field Goal Percentage. They have won AND covered the last 6 vs Depaul, including winning the last 3 at home vs Depaul by 21, 19 and 18.

More to come....................

Hey Mizer, thanks for checking in! I've been doing great........don't have as much time to post as I used to, but I still look in here at Madjack's as often as I can. Got the day off from the real job, so doing some in depth capping today...........

2)Penn State(+6.5)
Penn State seems to be a real life Jekyl and Hyde squad.............patsies on the road..........losing 80-37 three nights ago at Illinois (and don't think that score hasn't skewed this line)...............but a better than meets the eye team at home...........6-2 S/U and 4-1 ATS on their home court.

They have a super home Defensive FG% of 37.8%, and their key home stats either match or are better than Michigan's key road stats. This one has that Big Ten upset aroma all over it...........I'll take the generous 6.5 pts.

Good luck Loop.........let's bring em all home today!

3)Arkansas(+5)
Another live home dog here.
Vanderbilt has a gaudy 13-2 record but that is skewed by the fact they have only played 4 road games.

The Razorbacks are 8-3 S/U at home, and match up very well on their home court for this one. They have a very good DFG% of 40.9% at home and 41.9% overall. They have won the last 3 years at home vs Vandy by 14, 15 and 10 pts, covering the ATS all 3 times.

1-1 in the early games, as Penn State kept it close but just couldn't get it done down the stretch.

4)Duquesne(+8.5)

In a game of middle of the road teams..........Duquesne(8-8) vs George Washington(9-7), I'll take the better defensive team getting this many pts.

Looking at DFG%, the stats favour Duquesne:
YTD......39.2% to 44.4%
Duq road vs GW home.......36.9% to 39.2%
Last 5 games........38.1% to 43.5%

Thanks for the nice words redsfan. I appreciate it.

5)Texas A&M(+9)
Not a lot of raw stats backing this one up, although A&M has covered the last 3 against Tech and 6 of the last 7.

Rather, I'm thinking that Tech might get caught taking this one a little too lightly......a sandwich game if you will. Also, I have always thought the Big 12 is the toughest conference in the nation to give pts on the road.

Last one for the night.

7)Rice(+4.5)

Rice is 6-1 ATS last 7 overall, while Nevada is 0-4-2 ATS last 6 overall.

I see definite advantages for Rice at the defensive end and in shooting the 3 ball, which makes them pretty attractive getting points here.

Good luck!
