Adding tonight so far:
Valpo +2 over Cleveland State.....CSU has been one of the nicer stories of the year so far....they're 6-0 in the Horizon and actually have a two-game lead over everyone's mid major darling Butler in the chase for league honors.....but consider the amazing week CSA has had......they go down to Dayton and win at Wright State, where nobody wins and then come back home Thursday and lead wire to wire in an upset of Butler, the programs first ever regular season win over a ranked foe.....I'm thinking the Vikes will just run out of gas tonight against a very solid Valpo team thats just laying in the weeds trying to prove themselves. Suddenly, the Vikes are the hunted and the Crusaders, looking to make a name for themselves in their new league, are set for a big win.....Valpa can win this league and already have three road wins, incluiding at Wright State also, in Horizon play. They are battle tested as well having played at UNC, at Wisco, at Vandy and at Austin Peay. Valpa has played a tougher slate than CSU, yet carry better stats into the game. A big advantage for Valpo also in the three point shooting department. Think they shoot right by the Vikings tonight and further shake up the Horizon standings.
NC St -1 over Miami......Unranked favorite in this one....Miami was on the wrong end of this trend earlier in the week on the road against BC, and expect the same to happen tonight. The Canes are only 7-19 SU the last four-plus seasons on the road in ACC play, including losses in ten of their eleven. NC St has been no great shakes, but expect their best effort at home tonight after back to back blowout losses on the road to UNC and Clemson. They might not be having the greatest of seasons in Raliegh, but the Pack have already beaten Davidson and Cincy on this floor this year. They'll add the Canes to their resume tonight.
Missou +7.5 over KU.......I have no trends or anything on this one......as long as the Tigers are playing well, I will always take them as a home dog in this series. Missouri got caught in a sandwhich trap in Ames against the Cyclones earlier in this week. But, one week ago today, they basically controlled from start to finish the Texas Longhorns on this court. The house will be rocking in Columbia tonight. I'll take the seven and a hook in a game that I think wont be decided until the closing possessions. We could very well see a fourth top 5 team go down tonight. It would not be a big shock.
Good luck. Might add more as I keep looking at the night's card!!!
