Thoughts on the only game that matters today? want to pull the trigger and lay the 8, but the Hawks haven't had their annual melt-down game against a good opponent this year yet. Will it come tonight, or is this team too good to have one?

Thanks man, good luck to you as well! My card is interesting this week. I am betting my 4 most hated teams in cfb...Illinois, MN, Iowa St, and the Huskers.

IOWA covers, end of story. Below is my linked post about it yesterday. Carlos Brown is now out and I love Forcier (from San Diego) walking into a game with rain/snow and temps in the 30's dropping into the 20's. The Iowa D is going to eat him alive.... Iowa 38-12. GO HAWKS!!

No rain or snow expected, but it is damn cold for this time of year and it will be dark soon after kickoff....

Nice write-up in the QC Times this week about how arrogant Forcier is and how this is his FIRST game outside of the state of Michigan. Agree, the Iowa defense should tear him a new one. Add in the fact that its a "blackout" game and its Homecoming and all signs point to an Iowa victory. But do they cover the 8? :shrug:

It is currently snowing in Iowa City but it looks like most of the system wll be gone by kickoff, only a slight chance (20%) of rain/snow according to local weather.

I am taking the Hawks at -8, love the play.
