Tough PUSH with Yale on Thursday night. Think we had the right side.

Rider -5

Rider is playing with a lot of confidence; this new Brazilian kid is supposedly a good player. The Broncs are awfully tough in that small bandbox they play in, especially on a Saturday night.:toast:

Delaware has a nice record but they've played no one. Most convincingly is that they had to nail and claw to get by L-M in their last game, by far the worst team in the MAAC.

Niagara at -9.5 is also worth an investment as this line will move to 10.5 or 11 before gametime.

good luck

- Jon

Box -- glad to hear you're on these two as well.

Rider played pretty well in their last game vs Manhattan...the game was closer than the 15 point loss may indicate...Broncs were down by just one at the half and then Manhattan came out of the locker room on fire, playing their best half of basketball they've played all year...not surprising since it was their MAAC opener and they wanted to send a signal to rest of league...Rider looked tired in 2H but it was their 5th game in 10 days...now they've had a week off for exams so they're rested but they may come out a little rusty.

Rider wants a big home win here as they want to go on the road with confidence for the next five before coming home on Jan 10 to face Penn and then a tough MAAC schedule.

Buffalo is winning despite playing without sophomore forward B.J. Walker, their leading scorer (12 points per game) and rebounder (7.3 rpg), who has missed the last three games with a herniated disc. UB coach Reggie Witherspoon said Walker is doubtful for tonight's game and it is unclear when he'll return. Walker has been replaced in the lineup by the 6-foot-6 Jordan (6.3 ppg, 4.3 rpg) who also has a sore back because he's been taking numerous defensive charges.

Also, Niagara out for revenge; Buffalo's 75-64 victory last year vs Niagara probably kept them out of NIT.

Delaware didn't score in final 5 1/2 minutes vs Loyola-Maryland.

Also Rider star Johnson sat a lot of 2H vs Manhattan due to foul trouble.

Box -- did you see this Brazilian Juco transfer play at Delhi?

superbook, your right on with your analysis of rider.
I did see Pereira play lyr at Delhi. He's a big kid at 6'6.Can shoot the eyes out of the hoop.
Gary Cole the former coach is the AD there and a very good friend. He had a "pipeline" from my school to his.I made that trip up there many, many, times. In fact when I had my players playing for delhi I would schedule all my non-league games on nites delhi wasn't playing.
My other star was at St Peters so I did the same. And my own kids were playing too for there schools. That's why I had to give it up.I'd be in divorce court.
Will post all my games in a little while.
St pete game is 12.00 noon I think???/
