With this many games out there its hard to focus -- have to make sure not to throw too many plays out there. But I see a bunch that look very good.
Also wanted to say thanks to all the great cappers here for their insights- loophole, homewrecker, buddy, nickelback, barfly, titus many many more, sorry if I didn't name you but too many to name. By far the best site for capping insight and opinions on the net. Great to have this place as a sounding board for opinions on games and information.
OK, I'm done cut the violins
My plays, so far, are:
WVU +1.5, 3* Almost made this a 4*. I think the worng team is favored. WVU is really playing well despite its no name status, confidence growing by the day. Beilein will be BE coach of the year if he keeps it up.
Theyve played two very close games against Tenn last two years, covering both times, and I'm sure this will be another. Slay is a very good player for Tenn and seems to have gotten more consistent this year, but not a whole lot after that. This is Vols' 3rd game in 7 days. They pulled that win out of their ass on a mid court buzzer beater at GT last week, but I think the Eers use this as a statement game. Sneaking suspicion tells me Eers are favored by tip off.
Georgia Tech +5.5, 3*
Jackets are 6-0 SU against Big East opponents since 97. I think they're the better team here. They have been putting up big #s on the glass; Bosh is a force and Jack at the point is a future star. I think 5 is very generous, as this GT team still hasn't been "found out." Could very well be undefeated but lost at the buzzer to Tennessee and by one at Minnesota in a game they led in the final 2 minutes. Cuse has a stud in Carmello but has not beaten anyone -- Valpo, Colgate, Cornell, UNC_Green, and Binghampton. Only good opponent - somehwat "good," anyways, was Memphis, which beat the Orangs by 7.
GT should win and I may play them on the ML tmw.
YTD 34-29, +14.7*
