Sat Nite New England v LA Galaxy
LA at evens very big. NE might only have 12 outfield players available and are coming off a game on Wednesday on the road in which they played 120 minutes - most of which they were down 1 or 2 men. It was a US Open cup which normally would have meant the scrubs play, but due to injury problems - and they suffered 2 more in that game, half the team were starters. LA rested and playing a team playing second game in 4 days on the road. Not that this game would count since it was an Open Cup game in midweek, but given the circumstances, I would think it would fall into this trend somewhat (my own stats, so they may not be perfect:
MLS teams playing a mid week MLS game on the road followed by a weekend MLS game on the road vs a home team that has not played mid week - last 3 years: 1 win, 11 losses 1 draw 10 goals for, 31 against.
