hi guys ~ had a fun day, late afternoon golf for a change.. chipped in for a birdie on a par 3, and made eagle on a par 5 w/a 45 ft putt!!
I don't get many eagles... playing w/my bro-in-law made it all the more fun! :0074
Was good to take a few days off.. now, it's down to the Final Four!
there's been a lot of exciting games and upsets along the way, and maybe there's SOmebody out there that had these 4 tms in the finals, but I doubt it...
I have Gonz facing Baylor in the Finale Monday night... w/Gonzaga winning it all... didn't go out on a limb w/those 2 at least lol
Tomorrow's games:
Baylor -5 v Houston...
I'm seeing a lot of love for Houston from others... they're a tough, gritty, hard-working and rebounding group and I congratulate em for getting here...
But...Baylor has a very similar work ethic in my eye..
and THey can SHoot Much Better than Houston!
I don't see any way Houston hangs w/em, and when they fall behind by DD and are forced to try and catch up, it'll open the floor for Baylor's 4 quality guards to create easy baskets and run away even further...
Mitchell's speed is practically unguardable... a great weapon at the end of the game with a lead... daaa Bears.
Ucla +14 vs Gonzaga....

Give Ucla credit.. they've got some tough kids that keep playing even when things look grim.. cuz sometimes they can be pretty bad..
Fell behind BIG early vs Mich St... could've folded up their tent at halftime... but they stormed bk to blow em out...
they scored 4pts in the first 10:30 vs Michigan.. FOUR pts.. and WON!
Who does THat?? Michigan shot poorly.. truth! but still..
I DO like that Jaqez kid... TOUGH! and makes some really tough shots, clutch! Juzang was en fuego vs Mich to get bk in the game.. sizzled!

that Timme kid scored almost every way u could think of against USC's tall and talented (and young) big men.. pressured the ball.. stole the dribble.. and RAN... transition game up the waazooo!
Gonzaga is one of the all-time great teams I've ever seen...
Their ball movement.. back-door cutting.. interior passing.. perimeter shooting..
ALL THAT SAID.... I am VERY hesitant to lay 14 points...
Gonzaga likes to get out early, pushing tempo, pressing, but then (quite often it seems), they go on cruise control... take their foot off the gas.
and often give up back door covers...
MAYBE A 1ST HALF PLAY ON GONZAGA -8 OR SO??
Will UCLA be able to control the pace.. slow it down like the Mich game..?
NO.... I don't think they can.
Because I think Gonzaga has so much offensive ability from so many players, they won't ALL go frigid on the same night.. there's enough talent on the whole team that SOmeone is always getting open, getting a great assist for an easy bucket.. they get a boatload of layups! Game after game after game!
and...
their players develop skills! post moves around the basket by Timme using either hand... slashes to the hoop by Ayayi or Suggs on a fast break... coming around a screen for a catch and (perfect-form) 3pt shot by Kispert... and Kispert hasn't really been hot yet.. this guy is awesome!
Like I said earlier, they usually build a double digit lead by 10 mins or so into the game...
I wonder how much they could win by IF they didn't take their foot off til the last few mins... win by 20-30 every game..??

I think they run up 80+ vs Ucla with cruise control much of the 2half...
MAYBE ZAGS TM TOTAL OVER??
MORE and more I'm liking Jimboski's OVER 145.5 play too!
I've got Futures on Zags to win about $633 (risk 1k)...
and 130/390 on Baylor...
I think Baylor has the ONLY chance of beating em... and that's cuz Baylor's got 4 quality guards that can dribble, drive, pass and shoot!
And...
IF they shoot lights out.. they've got a chance...
