They should count but what should have been said is betting MLs that big will hurt you in the long run. It will take only a couple of losses at -220 and higher to hurt you.

If they are covering at ease then take the spread. :shrug:
You could go 10-5 hitting 67% and break even with those MLs.

Betting -220 will kill you unless your bankroll is huge. But to be posting winners based on 1Q ML of -220 and not posting say 220/100 then who truly knows his profits.
