A inordinate of favorites covered the price Saturday, kicking dog players in the sack.................including myself! I went 1-4 ATS to open the season and am looking to "fist" my local this week.........with, Navy +15, Miami, FL. +10.5, Air Force +8, and my upset special of the week, Notre Dame +17!!! I should play this on the moneyline, but I will take the points for good measure.

I like N.D getting 17 too.
I also think Miami can win in OU.

The only thing that worries me is that these plays appear to be very popular dog plays this week.

they have a rFR starter at QB. all the receivers return . The Oline is huge , the starters avg
6'5 317lbs.

IMO Miami's Off. is very capable of trading scores with OU.

I think both Def. are about equal.

Take OU's game last week vs North Texas with a grain of salt. NT's head coach was in high school this time last year, was hired late and barely had time to figure out who his starters were, much less implement a system. I heard NT only ran one defensive scheme. They've got a long way to go.

NOTE TO SELF, if you can find North Texas line, lay the points.

Penn St only managed 15 yards rushing against FIU (picked LAST in Mighty Sun Belt Conf) in the first half except for 2 meaningless rushes to run out the clock at the end the half of about 25 yrds. Penn St did most of its damage in the air plus multipul FUI fumbles.

If ND can put any pressure on the pass rush(doubt they gain much on the ground) they should hang within the +17.

ND looked real bad, PSU score looked better than it was.........+17

I like miami and ND as well....but I'm on the sidelines this weekend yet, watching the first 2 weeks

oklahoma gets allen patrick and chris brown back this week in the backfield to go along with demarco murray so they'll always have a fresh back, but on the flip side Miami's graig cooper is a good compliment to james....I'm not sold on Sam Bradford as ok's qb which is a wash with kirby freeman.......11 pts seems a tad high.......i see a 24-17 type game either way.......
