This week has been superb and really looking forward to today and March Madness. Should be a great Saturday and selection weekend.
Xavier/Richmond Over 135.5 *** (3 Units)
Yesterday I was on the Xavier Over big and it hit. I see value again today. The Musketeers love to play an uptempo quick pace and seem to force teams to do the same even if they don't want to. This year defensive slower offensive teams like Temple, St. Louis, Dayton, LSU, and Cincinnati all succumbed to Xavier's pace. I don't see that changing today. The Spiders have also became more efficient on the offensive side of the ball as they have scored 74 or more points in 5 of their past 6 games. Yesterday I loved the over and it sailed over by 18.
Georgia Tech -4 *** (3 Units)
I've been on NC State the past two games and made out very well. They matched up very well against the Seminoles and Clemson, but this Yellow Jackets team is too big and should be able to control the boards extremely well. I feel the play on the glass will be an advantage that will be hard for the Wolfpack to overcome. Should result in too many second chance points.
Washington +2.5 ** (2 Units)
A contrarian play here I'm sure. Many cappers like Cal and I see this being a great game. I feel the Huskies have turned the corner and will give the Bears all they can handle tonight. Even though they have the same records, Cal I believe is in the tourney regardless. Washington could still be considered a bubble team.
UC Santa Barbara +1 ** (2 Units)
Like I said last night when I was huge on UCSB, nothing is stopping this Gaucho team. They are too deep and I think O.Jo and Nunnally should excel against the 49ers.
New Mexico St +10 ** (2 Units)
Do we need to keep saying the same thing about this team. They get no respect as many of us have made plenty of money backing them this year. Utah St is a great team and is loaded with talent...senior talent which is big. I feel New Mexico is up for the challenge and considering how important this game is for them, the points seem too high.
Akron -1 ** (2 Units)
A chance to finally get into the Big Dance if they can win. They have been a superior team this year and can taste their invitation. I think all the frustration this season with let down games against arch rival Kent St will drive them to a win tonight.
Best,
Kaiser
