I think this game is a classic matchup of a team playing well as a team vs a team playing like a bunch of individual big money stars. Baseball is a team game. Texas record ranks right there with TB and Pitt, pretty impressive.

Radke 3-0 on the road , team 4-0 behind him.
Road ERA 1.95. Overall Radke 7-1, team is 10-1 when he starts.

Rodgers is 2-2 @ home ERA 5.95 , team is 3-3.
Rodgers overall 3-3 . Team 6-5.

takin the Twins * unit.

Don't ordinarily like to bet Wakefield, but I have been waiting for Hamilton to start again, and will take whoever is on the mound for the opposition.

Team has lost 5 of last 7 behind Hamilton. In his last start everything he threw was hit and hit hard. Lasted about 2 innings or less, gave up a ton of hits and runs. I believe anyone can have an off day, but that performance signals more than a bad outing to me. I don't think all is well in Hamitonville.
Takin the Red Sox -120* unit and hope for the best.

Some other Saturday comments:
Really have some hot teams going right now
Cubs
Phillies--am leery today going against Armass
Mariners--big price vs TB

Also some cold ones
StL--their bats have left
Det--I think they are 2-9 last 11
TB---No comment required.
Cinn - they beat the Cards last night
Mets-although they came from behind to win easily last night

Was thinking about NYY over 8?, any comments.
LHP vs KC today, comments anyone.KC 3-8 vs LHP , 1-4 vs LHP on the road
Can Mets win another, and would you go against Smith ? Smith at home 3-0 ERA 1.99 at home.

The illusive 3 in a row. When was the last time the Braves won 3 in a row ? Will they today??? All u gamblers step up and call this one today. Pitt beat Glavine and Atl 9-3 last time. Where would u put your $$$ today?

How is Montreal handling Alou's termination. Will Armass be affected today?
I have a gut feeling, the players did not like it one bit.
Armas has had a 2.01 ERA at home this year and a sparkling .87 last 3 games. it will be interesting. I think this is a game that u can gauge the Alou impact.

Comments anyone !

Something has to give:
neither Colon or Clemons has been real sharp of late. NYY 10-3 at home vs RHP/Clev 11-3 road vs RHP. Both teams average about 6 runs each vs RHP in today's role. Unless both pitchers are real sharp today, I think this game flies over 8? for *unit.

I don't think Armass can save this squad against anyone soon. This Phillies team is playing hot and beating up on weaker teams. I thinhk this line is mighty soft. If the Alou firing had any impact, I might have expected to see something last night. Down 9-0 early, would have been a good opportunity for some guys to step up and show some hustle for their new skipper. Instead they rolled over and made stupid mistakes and horrible errors. This Expos team is a solid go against for me until I see 2 good performances in a row. I am thinking I don't see that for at least 12 games.

Henry - good comments on all the games. Like NYY over Cleveland, after the loss last night.

Also, even though Glavine lost to Pitt last time out, he is the class of the Atlanta staff, and the Braves seem to be hitting a bit better. I look for a 3 game winning streak for the first time this year - FINALLY.

Will look into the KC game, but your stats seem very pursuasive.....

NYY Und(8.5)(even) Colon under 4 straight vs NY and in last 39IP vs the Yanks he has given up only 17H 7ER with 33 K's. Clemens 3.13 ERA at home with a .96 WHIP and .203 OB% against. Colon 2.51 ERA on the road with 1.22 WHIP and Clemens L2 at home he has gone 15.1IP and given up only 1ER on 8H and 3BB. Colon only 5ER in last 22+ on the road. Solid pitching duel sets up today.

Looks like Phil has a good shot at killing my big Parlay, but going against Armas was iffy at best, oh well, it ain;t over till it is over, but it ain't lookin to good.

Adding:
Anaheim -145* unit
Schoenweiss has performed well at home.
plus he is LH and all that stuff
