Ok....so its boring today at the office.......but its going to be a pretty cool weekend in college hoops.....i know its championship weekend on the gridiron and NFL is in the home stretch.......but there's all sorts of intriguing games tomorrow on the college hardwood.

Those die hards who follow the sport, what game(s) are you most interested in catching tomorrow.....any games strike you as a good bet as of yet?

Of course, look at my avatar.....the game I'll be focused on is IU at Southern Illinois......they played last year at Assembly Hall....IU won a tight won, pulling away at the end.

But, I want to see how these teams play tomorrow.....SIU dominated Miss St, but then were dominated by USC.....big game for them tomorrow to boost their at large credibility....as for the Hoosiers.....well, they have more talent than they've had in years, but it clearly has not been harnessed yet and they struggle on D, particularily the interior.....if they lose this game, they'll have losses to Xavier and SIU......that would make me think they are not sweet 16 worthy, let alone top 10.....then again, maybe Xavier and SIU would be able to comepte this year for the Big 10 title.

I dont think that is much a stretch at all.

Same thing for Butler. They tore apart Michigan en route to the Alaska Shootout title.....beat both IU and Purdue last year....and tomorrow night host the Ohios State Buckeyes.

They'll be favored. And I dont think that would be a mistake by the odds makers at all.

Thoughts on the weekend? Lets hear them.

I really like Indiana, i was a big So Ill fan the last 2 years b/c of tatum & young in the backcourt. They will be missed tremendously, as shown against USC. So Ill strength is their bigs with shaw & falkner. If IU is smart, they will get the ball to white right away & falkner, who always is in foul trouble, could have 2 fouls with 10-15 mins left in 1st half. I don't think So Ill guards defend good enough to keep this one close. Gordon & white will dominate.

Also like Uconn, as posted in my thread.

Lots of good games indeed, at least in betting terms. No good bets of course as there's no lines up but it won't be long before the lvsc openers come out and after that I'll have some idea on what i'm going to bet when cris posts their numbers. If washington is getting any points against OSU then I'll probably play them, also interesting to see what Ole Miss is against New Mexico. If it's anything under -3(doubt it) it's a play for me. And there's probably dozen of others but those two came to my mind first.

Some early lines of my own for the games you discussed: butler -4,5, so illinois pk. Uconn's(and bc-prov) game is played in celtics home court, I have a hard time making either of these a favorite so i'll guess it's a pick then.
