Thought Kansas could cover last night:shrug: , congrats to the Illini players last night.
These games are tough folks, been putting in unbelievable hours breaking down these games. Hard work is generally been paying off though. Play carefully.

The Sooners took a home victory against Mizzou on January 21. Sooners won 84-71 and beat the 9 pt spread. An opportunistic win, as Tiger HC Snyder decided to bench starter and PG Stokes in favor of Paulding, naming Gilbert as the new PG. A drastic change that has proven to be the right move over the long haul. And how about Arthur Johnson? Not only a great shot blocker, but has picked up the pace offensively for the Tigers.
Johnson's offensive and overall inside play has picked up for the Tigers. Tigers now have more of an inside threat offensively, a team that relies on the treys.
A 6 pt spread is huge in a regional final, especially when two teams are from the same conference. Also, don't put any weight in the Sooners win on January 21, throw it out of the equation today, IMHO.
Like the Sooners here, based on four important points.
1) Not much press about this fact, but Oklahoma has tremendous quickness which equates to a great defense. Ask Arizona, Xavier, ILL CHI, Kansas & Texas over the last 5 games. An avg of 60 pts per game against teams that know their offense. Holding opponents to 36.9 FG%, 27.2 three pt%.
2) The Sooners are not only quick, they have a taller backcourt. This has helped them in guarding against the trey, holding the opposition to 27% lately. Doesn't help a Tiger team that loves the tri-fecta's.
3) FT%: Sooners hit at 75%, Tigers a little over 68%. Tigers only 14 for 22 (63.6%) last game. Sooners 16-18 (88.9%)last game.
4) Turnovers: Mizzou had 20 turnovers LG, Oklahoma had 5 turnovers last game.
