CBB: 331-286 +89.1 units

No posts since Sunday, 2-0 since, in the NIT, verified at bestbettor.com.

Oklahoma -6 2 units (check bestbettor.com) Played it two days ago. No time to post here until today.

Should have played it at -5.5 when it opened, but waited one more day.

Been preaching one theme throughout this tournament concerning the Sooners. I've had no replies, assume no one cares or agrees.

The Oklahoma perimeter defense is as good as any in the nation in guarding the 3's. It failed them on the cover against ILL CHI, a team that is known for three's. That still bothers me.

The fact that the line keeps going up also bothers me some. Playing conservatively, and honestly see it going to -8/8.5 by tipoff.

As far as the Maryland/Kansas game, I favor Maryland if its +???????.

If I can get a local OZ spread as expected (Maryland +3-4) I'll post again.

No opinions on the totals yet. Conservative looks good to me tonight, and will sleep on it.

I care KC! Always check your posts, been preaching perimeter D last month and ahalf or so. seems like my plays were getting backdoored or blowing leads by easing up on the perimeter. You can't give up the 3 in high percentage and win, never mind cover.
That and free throw percentage are vital stats in the stretch/dance. GL!

I care too KC. As your neighbor nextdoor in Missouri, I follow the big 12 religisly. If people have not seen OU play defense they are in for a real treat. One thing that bothers me about this game is in my opinion if Missouri would have hit their freethrows and Gilbert would not have had the worst game of his career we would be seeing Missouri here instead of Oklahoma. But Oklamoma did not play a great game either. I look for OU to come out and play extremely aggressive, especially on the peremiter. this could lead to open shot down low, or as in the Missouri game foul trouble. I hope the line does go to 8- and I will have to have a small play on Indiana. Still want to see an all old big 8 final though. I bet the line on Kansas will be high locally. Those jayhawks fans will surely bet their team.
Best of Luck to all,

Oklahoma is a pack of wild talented dogs that will wear out Indiana. There's a reason big name players continually have their worst games of the year against OU. They don't care if it's low scoring or high scoring, they're there for the duration. One reason they might have let up a bit on UIC could be due to the hangover from beating Kansas in the Big 12 tourney. I wish I would have gotten the line at 5.5 as well, because it won't be anywhere near that at tip off, Coverdale or not. I'll be sweating out the 7 or 8 as Indiana starts firing threes. Good luck...
