Wish to start off the year thanking 4bubba for all his hard work!
Had the pleasure of meeting this fine gentleman in Las Vegas, at last year's Madjack Suberbowl party.
Good to see so many other fine cappers already posting, you know who you are. We need pepin back in here, where are you my friend?
First off, NFL preseason is a great opportunity to make money. If you are careful, and read every newspaper you can get a hold, you can find 30 plays in preseason with great value. DON'T PLAY A SINGLE GAME until close to kickoff. Coaches interviews on pregame shows will usually tell you a bunch.
Tonight, most anything could happen. The west "pond" is fairly vast, and very few players even want to go there, let alone the coaches, who are losing valuable practice time with all the travel.
Watch the lines on these two teams in there next game, we may find something worth playing.
Back to tonight's game. Read some very well written stuff already, congrats for all who have contributed, well done!
Being an Iowa State grad, and a son currently at Iowa State, I know a little more than the average wagerer concerning Sage Rosenfelds. Many scouts rated him fairly high in the draft two years ago. He is very accurate, but not an arm for deep passes.
Sage is on the chopping block, won't be there when the season starts. Spurrier has too big a head to allow a non-Florida QB to take the limelight. Don't kid yourselves, folks. Sage has never played an NFL game and good old Steve Spurrier is setting him up to take the fall. Hope the poor kid makes it with another team. After the first half, Spurrier will trot in his former Gator, Danny Wuerffel. I think he last played in the NFL 2-3 years ago.
Back to the 5.5 swing on side. This is laughable, yet predictable. Any of you travel to the water fountain at work, your local tavern, or coffee shop.........and hear anything other than Spurrier loves to win and pour it on? Yes, that is what you have been told. Owner, Snyder, seems to like winning at all costs also. Don't llisten to it.
This 5.5 swing wasn't by sharpies. This swing wasn't surprising at all. If I play this one, it will be the Niners, but remember to watch lines on the next games these two play. The total is too tough for me at the moment, turnovers?
gl!
