ATL -10 4x

Will come back later before game time to explain. If line goes down to 9 I'll be adding more.

DZ, like ATL alot and OV 198.5

HM team prev played CHI now 10+ FAV and total of 195 or more are 3-0 SU/ATS this season. Average win by 20+ (122-98)

ATL already beat PHI 117-96 back in NOV.

Gonna put both ATL-10 and OV198.5 in a Reverse palay.

Hawks

Posted this info in Jord's thread yesterday.

Interesting post from ESPN after the Sixers win vs the Raptors on Wednesday:
http://www.espn.com/blog/statsinfo/p...on-the-raptors

ESPN Stats & Info

The Philadelphia 76ers snapped a 14-game losing streak Wednesday against the Toronto Raptors behind Joel Embiid. Stats & Info takes a look inside his numbers.

Embiid finished with 26 points, tied for the third-highest scoring game of his career. It was his 10th straight 20-point game, the second-longest streak by a rookie in franchise history behind only Allen Iverson (11), according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

The big man played 27 minutes Wednesday, and the Sixers outscored the Raptors by 20 points in that time. In the 21 minutes he was on the bench, the Sixers were outscored by 15 points.

Embiid scored 12 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter, tied for the highest-scoring fourth quarter of his career.

On the season, the 76ers have outscored opponents by 68 points when Embiid is on the floor. He is the only 76ers player with a positive plus-minus. When Embiid scores more than 20 points in a game, the 76ers are 10-6 this season (they?re 4-20 when he scores 20 or fewer or does not play).

Another way to analyze what Embiid is doing for the 76ers: They have the scoring margin of a 56-win team with him on the floor this season. The 76ers have a scoring margin of an 11-win team with him off the floor.

Important note about line value on Hawks....

Both teams playing on b2bs. Line opened @ -9 LN during both team's games. It was rumored yesterday, prior to their game against POR that Embiid would sit out today's game, even before he tweaked his knee in that game, but it appears to me that the opening line did not factor that in well enough. Sixers play to the level on a 56-win team with him on the floor and an 11-win team without him.

Hawks played @PHI on Oct 29th (2nd game of the year) and covered easily as 9 pt favs 104-72. (Embiid play 15min)
Hawks covered easily against PHI at HOME on Nov 12th as 14.5 pt favs, 117-96. (No Embiid)

So yesterday the line opens 9, it gets bet up to 10 after the Embiid news become official. What it looks to me like is that the oddsmakers are not factoring in PHI's loss of Embiid tonight. I think the opening line was probably about right even with Embiid (maybe could have been 8 or 8.5, but they usually split the difference when there's an uncertainity) and one point move does not accurately interpret his value to the team point spread-wise.

Another one I forgot to post...

PHI last 12 games: 10-0 ATS with Embiid, 0-2 w/o Embiid

Not to late to get involved. Good value with in-game line. Maybe see some value at halftime.
