ESPN Stats & Info
The Philadelphia 76ers snapped a 14-game losing streak Wednesday against the Toronto Raptors behind Joel Embiid. Stats & Info takes a look inside his numbers.
Embiid finished with 26 points, tied for the third-highest scoring game of his career. It was his 10th straight 20-point game, the second-longest streak by a rookie in franchise history behind only Allen Iverson (11), according to the Elias Sports Bureau.
The big man played 27 minutes Wednesday, and the Sixers outscored the Raptors by 20 points in that time. In the 21 minutes he was on the bench, the Sixers were outscored by 15 points.
Embiid scored 12 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter, tied for the highest-scoring fourth quarter of his career.
On the season, the 76ers have outscored opponents by 68 points when Embiid is on the floor. He is the only 76ers player with a positive plus-minus. When Embiid scores more than 20 points in a game, the 76ers are 10-6 this season (they?re 4-20 when he scores 20 or fewer or does not play).
Another way to analyze what Embiid is doing for the 76ers: They have the scoring margin of a 56-win team with him on the floor this season. The 76ers have a scoring margin of an 11-win team with him off the floor.
