Saturday's games

Tough breaks last night as we lost both Marshall and Eastern Illinois by half a point each. The difference between a winning night and a losing night turned out to be a single point.

Last Saturday I played too many games. . . this time I'm going to be a little more selective and only play the games with the greatest value. Here's what I have so far:

Georgia Tech +5.5 over Syracuse. . . not sure why the Orangemen are getting so many points at home when they haven't played anybody. GT is hungry for a good win after losing that game to Tennessee on a miracle shot.

Kent St. +2 over St. Bonny. . . I'm waiting for Carib to possibly post a ML and play that instead of taking the 2 points. Yes, a road dog, but Kent State is the far superior team IMO.

West Virginia +1 over Tennessee. . . funny, the line moved all the way down to a pk, then some money came in on the Vols again. I don't understand how the Vols are the favorite in this one so I'll take what I believe holds value and see what happens.

Opinion games:

Western Michigan over Virginia Tech
SDSU over Houston
Michigan over Vandy

Needed the 2nd half under for the Cuse/GT game (posted on another thread) to pull me out of this slump. . . here's what I have for the rest of the night:

Ill. Chi. laying 2.5 over Wisc Green Bay. . . like the way this team is playing right now. . . not a big play, but average.

Now the big plays:

EIU laying 2.5 over Cal Poly VERY BIG. . . lets try this again. . . had EIU last night, but their first half performance was enough to prevent the game cover for me in the 2nd half. Game is being played in Hawaii so EIU is ready to play a night game after last night. Cal Poly is in the same boat but lost by double digits to New Orleans. Taking the much better team here as I would be absolutely shocked if EIU loses this one.

CS Sacramento laying 4.5 over CS Fullerton BIG. . . Fullerton is simply a bad team. . . can't see them possibly winning this game so laying 4.5 is probably not too many.

Opinion plays (a ton of them):

Arizona over LSU (if I didn't think this, you would know I wasn't telling the truth. . . actually more interested in the total for this one as I think it goes over, but won't play anything and simply watch).
Stanford over UNLV. . . looks like too many points. . . probably another good one to just watch.
Kentucky over Indiana. . . Hoosiers are a great team, but Kentucky needs this one a little more. . . should have a lot of motivation to play well.

May post others, but probably not.
