Princeton came through for me last night as my only play of the evening. Thanks to all who scared me away from san fran last night. For some reason I didnt think the zags had it in em but they rolled easily.
Yesterday 1-0 ATS +1 unit
Overall 16-3 ATS +28 units
Yale +11 @ Penn for 2 units
Penn is high powered offensively but I dont think they have what it takes to blow out an angry Yale squad. 24 hours ago Yale was in the drivers seat for the IVY crown and ncaa berth but they had to know this weekend would not be a cakewalk. They strolled into princeton and gave away their stranglehold on the title. Now they are in a three team dogfight, tied with princeton and one game ahead of Penn. Yale isnt a great road team, 8-7 SU, but they always seem to cover the spread, 8-1 ATS. Penn is the exact opposite at home where they rarely lose, 11-3 SU but also rarely cover, 6-7 ATS. I just feel like 11 pts is WAY too many to give a team in the position that yale is in. They are the better team in this game but the home court gives penn a slight edge in my opinion. Before last night Yale had won 6 straight road games and could easily win this one. The only difference I see is that Penn is more battle tested, thanks mostly to their philly ties, and may have a new sense of hope with the title back up for grabs. I think Penn wins in a barn burner, but only by 3.
Western Kentucky -20 hosting MTSU for 2 units
WKU's Diddle Arena will be an extremely hostile environment tonight as their world-beating big man, Chris Marcus showcases his skills for the last time on this stage. Senior Night has the fans revved up big time and the school is also recognizing some great hilltopper teams from the past during a halftime ceremony. MTSU knows they cant win this game and probably has little motivation to even make the trip. They are 2-11 on the road this year with ugly losses coming to: radford by 19, north texas by 22, tenn by 18, ark st by 32, and ark l-r by 19. WKU walked away with a 10 point win at MTSU with Marcus out of the lineup. The big fella is fresh off a 32 pt-15 board effort against kent st and will feast on the blue raiders overmatched frontcourt. The hilltoppers are 13-0 on the hill this season and are currently riding a 14 game win streak. This gets ugly early and often and wku wins by 36.
Oregon -19 hosting wash for 2 units
The Ducks have no conscience when it comes to playing at home. They tend to go for the jugular early and keep pouring it on until the final buzzer sounds. They are an incredible 15-0 at home this year winning by an average of 26 ppg. The most important number in this game, however, is 97-92, the score in washingtons huge upset win over the ducks earlier this year. They haven't forgotten. Oregon has 9 wins of 29+ and 3 of over 40. They should add to both of those totals today. Washington has a history of winning at Oregon, taking 3 of the last 4, but that streak comes to a screeching halt today as frederick jones puts on an absolute show on senior night. Ducks by 31
might add more games later
