Thanks Wood! At quick glance the following jump out at me:

Duke -15
Joes -9.5
mem +3
Bill+Mary +8
Smiss -14.5
IllSt -8
BG +8.5

Memphis just happens to be in front of me. Tennesse turned the corner last week against Vandy and I think they will continue to play with that determination at home against another state rival.

Looking at the % and rebounding Tennessee is +9 offensively and overall +8 in their last five. I'm looking closely at this game.

LSU/Xavier shows a HUGE differential and I believe one them gets exposed tomorrow, though I'm not saying who yet.

Also, Depaul/Marquette has some value with heavy public betting on Marquette and solid rebounding numbers on Depaul. The question is how bad is the blow out? 17 may be too much...

Nothing played just discussions..

Like to hear what you think any given game... :mj06:

TENN has played better of late they are a very good rebounding team but their defense has been bad to atrocious and they don't have any pure shooters since the departure of Lofton. They were crushing SCAR in Knoxville only to hang on to win by 3 points last Saturday because their TO's are so high! IN most circumstances their carelessness with the BB cancels out the great rebounding edge they have against most teams.

MARQ is a big number and one thing to consider when the number is that high is FT's. I would pick MARQ to make it to the final 4 if they could shoot better at the FT line. Tough game to cap cause Depaul is just..well..Depaul!

Funny on LSU/XAV. I live in Philly and have gone to the A10 tourny in 4 of last 6 years. There are a few different mind sets in this game. Firstly, XAV is experienced, has very strong coaching, superior G play and versatility. They have a deep team and will most likely cruise thru the A10 with potentially a small challenge from Temple or Dayton. Out of conference they knocked off Memphis and VTECH in an early tourney but were handled easily by Duke and Butler. LSU is long and rangy and can get up and down the floor. They have been hot lately knocking off OleMiss, MissSt and SCAR but have very little non confernce activity to show here. They get their 3 point advanatage (2.5 actually) for being home but on a neutral court X wins this game going away. If I played the game I would lean to X but the fact they are playing this between A10 games and its in LSU makes it a little harder for me to go there. Interested to C who you like and why!

Joe's -9.5 vs Penn at the Palestra, here is another Big5 game had Lasalle laying 10 the other night only to watch the Explorers blow a 20 pt lead and win by 9 and had Temple about 2 wks ago in same spot blow out the Quakers. The Quakers are rebuilding and although its a tough matchup with city opponents only miles away Joe's will have as many if not more fans of their own here. Joes wins by 15+ and gets the cover. Also, Joes been playing good ball the last few games with 5 SU wins over decent competition.

Very nice. Enjoy a discussion instead of picks with people's spread.

I haven't even looked at the St. Joe's game but will definitely now.

A couple leans:

Kentucky -6.5

Notre Dame destroys a young UConn team...

WOW! Thats a bold prediction with ND. Every year with them is the same deal! Win at home and lose on the road. This team is an enigma to me. Sometimes they look real good but far too often they are just ordinary. Mcalrney can shoot the rock with the best of em and Harongody is a BEAST! Besides that they don't have much and lack the intensity it takes to win a BIG EAST CHAMPS. Ucon is another team that could be undefeated if they played to their potential. I agree ND wins tomorrow only cause of home court advantage.

Seems like quette is alarge spread ..not terrible from the line at 73percent but in the big east I would think a letdown is due

I agree on at joes....Penn should have lost ate against lasalle but dnuck back door

Also looking at nova....get to the line and are a good hustle team. Need to take a closer look...I have been ice cold this sat week losing some heartbreakers...so take it for what it's worth

Iowa's leading scorer (Tucker) is done for the season because of academics and Tate is out also.

I really don't bet against my Hawkeyes, but Penn State looks awfully good tomorrow at -6'

Good luck.:toast:

PST is a solid bet at home! Battle can play and without Tucker and Tate it will take a huge all around effort from Iowa. Thats actually a good game to point out and immediatly jumps to the top of my board!

MOHIO -9 is a big number. They are a very well coached bunch and have played much better now that league play started even though Bramos hasn't been great! The line tells me MOHIO but after 2 road wins over Kent and BG the redhawks need 2 avoid a let down at home. Buffalo has played decent on the road and well on neutral courts against avg or below teams but If I was betting the game I would go with the line and lay the 9. I think there is better value out there than to pick this game.

I love this as well.

Illinois, Creighton, Nebraska, and Boston College in the early games... Thoughts?

Creighton - Drake. I road Drake all of last year and made a bunch of cash. road them early this year and made a bunch of cash. Stayed on them last 2 games and they got completely pumbled. This is a very intriguing game and I looked at it and had to step away. Both of these teams are ENIGMA. Both these teams have lots of potential as Drake returns Young and Cox from last years tounrey team but most of the rest are underclassmen. They are in the bottom 1/2 of MVC in numerous categories and the most prolific to me has been their lack of consistency and intensity on DEF. Woodfox is playing for the Jays team tomorrow and if the real Blue Jay team shows up they will win most categories including assists, rebounds and TO ratio. NO PLAY for me

ILL played over their head all year in my OP. Wiscy is better than their last 3 games. I think Wiscy rebounds and steals the out right W here.

BC vs NCST I've lost $ on both these teams this year and personally they both suck! I think NCST sucks more but wouldn't bet it (how bout that for analysis). Actually I think BC is just skating by until tourney time, are they as good as the team that beat NC - NO. Are they as bad as team lost to Harvard - NO. BC wins by 10 but for me NO PLAY

Ill/wisc.....tough call badgers have been hot/cold on the road...Illinois have shot well against some tough big ten defenses in OSU, Mich St. ...-6.5 might be a tad too much but I don't se Wisconsin winning this

Agreed on Creighton/drake and BC

UCLA could be one of the most overrated teams in the nation....do things well but they don't have a go to scorer imo...washington tough on offensive boards as well
