Shut out for the first time in the last 14 days going 0-3 last night although I did get Marquette -18 with my man. 28-15-1 overall and 12-3 w/Best Bets.

GEORGIA TECH PK(Best Bet)
KENTUCKY -1
ARIZONA -4
VANDERBILT +8.5 or ML(Upset Special)

Georgia Tech-Tech playing good b-ball lately as they have a modest 4 game winning streak going. They beat FSU by 29pts. back on 1/30/02 and are 8-2ATS in their last ten games. The Seminoles are struggling going 2-8SU and 1-9ATS their last ten. I think that the Yellow Jackets win this one by a comfortable margin.

Kentucky-Senior Day at Rupp Arena and that alone makes the Wildcats a good play in my opinion. This is a game that Kentucky needs to win badly and they should play well. Florida not as good away from home and they were beaten by the Wildcats 70-68 back on 1/29/02 at home. I just think that Kentucky will want this game more and remember, it's Senior Day. Wildcats 76 Gators 69.

Arizona-This is another high profile program that is hungry for a win. 'Zona won the earlier meeting at Cal 68-58 back on 1/31/02 and should bouce back after Thursday's loss to Stanford. Cal is playing their second road game in two days coming off a tough hard fought win at Arizona State. Two weeks ago Cal made their Washington trip beating Washington State on a Thursday night and then got hammered by Washington on Saturday. Hopefully Cal's Arizona trip will follow the same script. 'Zona to cover in this one.

Vanderbilt-With all that has happened in the last week in Razorback land, I think that it will be very difficult for the Hogs to be ready mentally or physically for today's game with Vandy. The players might just lay down in protest of their coach getting the ax. Vanderbilt fresh off a home win against Kentucky and a road win at Tennessee. The Commodors are also playing for a bid to the "Big Dance". I love Vandy plus the points but I also like the money line as I think Vanderbilt wins this one straight-up. 'Doors 73 Pigs 65.

Back this afternoon with some plays on tonight's action. As always, GLTA!!:)

read an interesting article about the ark team holding a players only mtg after richardson dismissal, from which jr g blake eddins emerged with a public statement to the effect that the players had met and unanimously decided that interim coach mike anderson be nolan's permanent replacement. i'm sure frank broyles loved that. really like vandy with all those points, especially playing as well as they are now, but have decided to pass not knowing what to expect under the circumstances.
