Miami OH +12.5 (2 units) (-107)

Miami of Ohio has proved a tough opponent this year. They upset UNC in game one and nearly toppled the Hawkeyes last week. Against LSU I see them losing by 6 but not nearly the 12.5 that the line is at.

#6 Ohio State VS #10 Washington State
This is my game of the week. Both teams enter the game 2-0. Ohio State has possibly the best rushing attack in the country. True Frosh Maurice Clarett is running strong with 33 total carries for 241 yards (an amazing average of 7.3 YPC). Further, the Bucks alternate RBs Maurice Hall and Lydell Ross for added depth at the position. Washington State?s quarterback Jason Gesser has been criticized somewhat this season but has put up solid numbers (29 of 45 - 462 Yds, 4TDs). Both teams will play well, but OSU will pull out the win by 10+

The Cougars travel to Ohio State with an experienced team led by Heisman Trophy candidate Jason Gesser. In two games this year, Gesser has completed 64% of his passes for 462 yards and 4 touchdowns! Washington State is a very explosive team on offense. On defense, they have held their two opponents to an average of 10.5 points per game. Keep in mind, however, that Washington State has played lower tier programs Nevada and Idaho. Ohio State has been impressive in wins over Texas Tech and Kent State. Led by freshman running back Maurice Clarrett, Ohio State looks like a traditional Big Ten team. Clarrett can pound the ball up the middle, but will beat teams with his speed when he breaks a tackle and gets into the open field. Washington State will get fazed by the crowd in "The Horseshoe"
