Saul Alvarez by KO/TKO risking $100 to win $170.
I know triple G has never been knocked down before.
Triple G is 40 years old and has been inactive as of late.
He took over a year off before fighting Ryota Murata in April.
I know Murata’s team threw in the white towel in round
9. I don’t think Triple G looked like the guy who fought
Saul Alvarez in 2018. GGG started the fight slow. Murata
was landing the more meaningful punches in the early
rounds, sustaining attacks to GGG’s body. Saul is a
great body puncher. Saul changed his fighting style
in the second fight. Saul fought more aggressively.
If GGG starts slowly again those body shots from Saul
will wear down GGG and he will get knocked out.

I’m adding another $100. Total bet is $200 to win $340.

I knew GGG was washed up and wouldn’t be competitive.
I lost both bets this weekend, but I don’t regret either one
of them. I was on target and came up short.

Final posted play count.
0-2 for -4.0 units.

Looking back at the fight tonight. I thought GGG was a
proud champion that would give it his all to win. He
would eventually wear out and get TKO/KO. Instead,
his strategy was to just survive with no chance at a
win. He didn’t start fighting until round 10. He went out
as a coward.

I shouldn’t have been so harsh on GGG. He did bring
the fight to Canelo in the 9th round not the 10th. I scored
the fight 9 rounds to 3 for Canelo.

Canelo is on the decline himself, I feel. G3 was as old as I expected, but fought mainly to get to the distance, which I didn't expect.
