Gary McCord certainly caught the eye last week and he was tied for third here last year...Multisports go 25, the best I've seen on the web is 20 with NetbetSports

Jose Maria Canizares is an excellent early season player and he did well last week. Runner up here last year, Multisports laid a little 66 earlier..great bet if you can get it...40 is ok too.

Lastly, Mark Cucumber is not a player I take much notice of, but he looks a little more determined this year and his accurate driving will help him round here..66 NBS and Ladbrokes

Outright plays:

Gary McCord to win 20/1 e.w. @ NetBetSports
McCord had every chance to win last week and faltered down the stretch. It may be why he has not finished outside the top-15 in any of his last ten starts, but failed to win any, finishing 2ndf on three occasions. His last win was in the 1999 Senior Tour Championship. However, he is in contention week in, week out, as he last last year when 3rd on this course, and is difficult to ignore as this price.

Larry Nelson to win 20/1 e.w. @ William Hill or Sportsinteraction
A considerably larger price than elsewhere and this may reflect the fact that he has yet to rediscover his form lf late last season. He rested last week and returns to a course on which he tied McCord for 3rd place last year and holds the course record. There should be an improvement this week.

Dana Quigley to win 33/1 e.w. @ Surrey
Quigley's odds have been slashed across the board following a run of strong early performances in recent events. He has failed to finish the job and maybe this is why Surrey have maintained an opinion about him - their odds are twice as high as the norm. He may not have won, but as least he has three top-5 finishes in his five starts this season - the others were only 7th and 14th - so even a place win would still be profitable at Surrey.

Final update:

Outrights: 1-2; -1.25 units

McCord 6th
Nelson 18th
Quigley 32nd

Shaky finish, but at least McCord got a share of 6th place to offset some of the losses from the other two selections.

Senior PGA ytd
