? Overrated and Underrated Tourney Teams
When you look at the NCAA Tournament you probably don?t look much past the seeding and the odds at the sportsbook.

Most people wagering at the sports book just look at the seeds in the opening round and that is fine but the NCAA Tournament committee oftentimes does a poor job of seeding teams. Let?s look at some teams are overrated and underrated in this year?s tournament.

Overrated Teams
The most overrated team in where they should have been seeded compared to where they are seeded is Cincinnati. The Bearcats are a solid Big East team but they are nothing special. You can easily make a case they should be a double-digit seed instead of a six seed. Two other overrated teams are Wisconsin and Illinois as each could lose in the first round. Villanova was lucky to make the tournament at all but yet the committee put them as a #9 seed. The Wildcats come into the tournament playing worse than any other team. Other overvalued teams are Clemson, Texas A&M, Missouri and UCLA.

Underrated Teams
Two of the most underrated teams in the NCAA Tournament in terms of seeding are Old Dominion and Utah State. You can make a good case that both should be seeded much higher than they actually are. Old Dominion and Utah State both have tough opening round matchups but they each can win against the odds at the sports book. Those two teams are not the only teams that the committee messed up in their rankings. Oakland and Belmont are #13 seeds but you can make a case that each of them could have been seeded much higher. Belmont has the best scoring margin in the country and Oakland played an extremely tough schedule. Oakland just might upset Texas in the first round and Belmont is a great bet at the Sbg global sportsbook against Wisconsin. Other undervalued teams are Richmond, Princeton, Georgetown, George Mason and Bucknell.

When you make your wagers at the online sportsbook you always want to look for value. Going against the overrated teams and taking the underrated teams is an excellent idea in the first round so keep all of these teams in mind as you make your first round wagers in the NCAA Tournament.
