NCAA Tournament East Region
#12 Arkansas (21-13) vs. #5 USC (23-11)

CBS
SBG Global Opening Line: USC ? 1, Total 135.5

Head coach Tim Floyd has USC back in the NCAA tournament for the first time in five years. They will try and avoid getting upset as they face #12 Arkansas who many people didn?t think deserved a bid at all. The Trojans won just three of their final seven regular-season games, but they did get to the Championship game of the Pac-10 Tournament before losing to Oregon. "We got embarrassed," said USC's Nick Young. "We've got a lot to prove. It's a new season now." The gambling public at SBG Global feels that USC, laying the points, will start this ?new season? with a win.

Arkansas is in the NCAA tournament for the second straight year, but many believe they should be in the NIT. Razorbacks coach Stan Heath led his team to five straight wins before losing to Florida in the SEC tournament final. "We all look through our own situations with probably tinted glasses," Heath said. "I do feel for the teams and the kids that were left out and didn't get a chance to be in this field. There are certainly strong arguments about all the teams that were (borderline). It's just the way it is. We can't get caught up in this, that and the other," Heath said. "We're excited to be in the field."

The USC Trojans are a 2 point favorite with a total 135.5 at SBG Global sportsbook.

Freshman Patrick Beverley leads the Razorbacks in scoring at 13.8 points per game. Forward Charles Thomas, who had 18 points and 18 rebounds in a victory over Mississippi State in the semifinals of the SEC tournament, is day-to-day with a left ankle injury. "We need him to be available," Heath said. "He helps us in these small matchup type of games, but he needs to make some recovery.?

The Razorbacks haven't won an NCAA tournament game since 1999. USC has won both meetings with Arkansas, but the teams haven't met since 1986.

The Razorbacks are 9-2-2 ATS in their last 13 games as an underdog.
The Razorbacks are 9-4-1 ATS in their last 14 non-conference games.

The Trojans are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 non-conference games. The Trojans are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 NCAA Tournament games. The Trojans are 19-8 ATS in their last 27 games overall.

The Over is 4-1 in the Razorbacks last 5 overall. The Under is 5-2 in the Razorbacks last 7 neutral site games as an underdog. The Under is 13-6 in the Razorbacks last 19 non-conference games. The Over is 6-0 in the Trojans last 6 games as a favorite. The Over is 16-5 in the Trojans last 21 overall.

NCAA West Region
#9 Villanova (22-10) vs. #8 Kentucky (21-11)

CBS
SBG Global Opening Line: Villanova ? 1, Total 134.5

Making its NCAA-record 48th appearance in the NCAA Tournament, Kentucky will try and get by Villanova. Villanova has won eight of its last 11 games. "They're very impressive," Kentucky head coach Tubby Smith said. "They're an outstanding free-throw shooting team. They've got an outstanding coach. We're going to have to make sure we take care of the ball against them. As a whole they're fundamentally very sound." SBG Global reports that this game should be a classic, with more bets on Villanova but more money on Kentucky.

Villanova is led by freshman Scottie Reynolds who has averaged 24.3 points over the last seven games. Reynolds is coming off a poor performance though against Georgetown as he was held to 11 points on 4-of-14 shooting in a 62-57 loss. Curtis Sumpter is Villanova?s best inside threat as he is averaging 17.3 points and 7.2 rebounds per game.

Kentucky will counter with Randolph Morris. The 6-11, 259-pound center averages team highs of 15.8 points and 7.7 rebounds per game. Kentucky was held to 38 percent shooting from the field against Mississippi State in the SEC tournament, and went 5-of-21 from 3-point range. "Obviously that was a real downer, but we've had a few of those this year and we've bounced back the right way," Smith said. "I'm in good spirits. Our kids are in good spirits."

Villanova is a 1.5 point favorite with a total of 134.5 at SBG Global sportsbook.

Kentucky comes in having lost six of their last nine. They went 0-7 against ranked opponents.

Villanova is 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games as a favorite. They are 19-7-1 ATS in their last 27 non-conference games. They are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 neutral site games. They are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 NCAA Tournament games.

Kentucky is 8-0-1 ATS in their last 9 vs. the Big East. Kentucky is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 NCAA Tournament games. They are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 neutral site games as an underdog.

The Over is 4-0 in Villanova?s last 4 games as a favorite. It is 5-1 in their last 6 overall. The Over is 4-0 in Kentucky?s last 4 overall. It is 5-1 in their last 6 neutral site games.
