Yeah,

I've got that one before Lanny. I deleted it after I read it, got a real funny one today offering me $16,000 no strings attached, what a crock their should be e-mail spam laws. Oh well, they seem to find everyone in cyberspace these days.

In the past week, I'll limit it to that, I've won 14-vacations, 12-free-direct tv installations, more later...

In any event the deal is only good if you subscribe for a package deal for $300+, in any event if you want a mini-dish not a bad dea, but no free lunch.

The other deals include, penis enlargement, breast enlargement, diplomas, xtra large credit cards, free loans, work at home for big bucks, and thats only the tip of the iceberg!

There's been an add running in our local paper now for quite some time that's pretty similar to these terms. Also saw something over on Ebay that looked about the same.

My guess is that the deal is probably on the up and up, but the system they "give" you is older technology, and costs nowhere near what the subscription to Direct TV will earn over the life of the equipment.

I noticed that those ads also only specify the monthly minimum amount you have to subscribe to, but it doesn't say how LONG a service contract you'll be required to sign...one year?..two?...maybe three??

Kinda like Best Buy giving huge rebates on older technology computers provided you sign up with MSN as a dial-up service provider for three years...ugh! Know someone who did that and broadband (cable modem service) was started up in his neighborhood the next month. He's kicking his self now.

Anyway...just my two centavos for what it's worth.

there is nothing wrong with an offer like that: they either nail you up front, or through the monthly payments.

isn't that what they have been doing with cellulars for a while? i have bought 1 cent cellulars. i would only be wary of who is offering it, and would stick to well recognized companies.

i see the coin flip in the horizon. let's get together in the nfl folder and make some money in pre-season, yes, pre-season.

see you there.

Canada may be a different country but we get the same B.S. SCAMS here too.Exact same one as the direct T.V. from express view. And I'm 48 so if you don't want Cindy, send her on over, I'll send my wife out for the old 'milk and bread' run..Spanky....

I found that deal on the net some time ago, checked it out and got my system for $14.95, period! No strings, no long term, no minimum package, all I had to do was activate within 30 days. I've got the MLB package and been happy ever since. Maybe I just got lucky??
