.....to congratulate you on your DYNASTY that ended today, even although Pete Carroll, the most over-rated coach in coaching history (and there was some stiff competition) had two weeks to prepare.

So, let's recap after today's shellacking from the unranked Beavers:

1. One outright national title

2 Many, many close games that were so undeservedly won

3. Er, that's it

What a shame.....

Scott: After today's loss and all those other close games this season, do you think you will be ranked in the Top 25 tomorrow?

Just wondering.

Bowl game against Rutgers, anyone?

I'm so happy USC finally fell.

Was there any controversy at the end? I noticed a PI call in the end zone on Gamecast, but obviously being in Florida I dont get that pathetic (or is it?) game.

they definitely should be commended on their great run......but it's far short of bud willkerson's run with oklahoma.....that team won about 50 straight games... now that's a record.

The only controversy that was in the game was steve smith caught a ball out of bounds and the ref gave it to him to keep SC alive, and then steve smith pushed off of his defender to catch th td pass but the ref didnt call that either

So as hard as they tried to give SC the game they couldnt they are that bad

And SC dynasty ended with Texas putting an asswhoppin on them

Oregon State capitalized on four USC turnovers to upset No. 3 USC 33-31, snap the Trojans 27-game Pac-10 winning streak and break the national championship race wide open on Saturday.

USC (6-1, 4-1) had also won 18 straight road games. But the mighty Trojans had shown cracks in their last three games, each a victory by seven points or less.

PC is known for not having any turnovers and beating the other team because of turnovers.

Gotta love them apple turnovers.

Now, I'm as happy as the next person that USC choked. Maybe this will quiet a certain windbag on this site for a little while at least.

That being said, "...an asswhoppin..."?

Last time I checked, squeezing out a victory at the end of the game doesn't qualify...
