This really shouldn't be close. Not only is Hansen one of the most in-form players on the Tour right now with top-5 finishes in each of the last two weeks, but he has a 8-2 h2h lead over Green in the 1st round this year and a 6-1 h2h lead over Green on this course. Green has missed the cut in seven of his last nine attempts at Loch Lomond, beating 70 just twice in 22 rounds

- - A LCP slog (if only) is always up his street, hard winds (hoping not) not at all, and value.

- - A player on whom I?ve been biding my time for some signs of momentum to uncork his streaky potential, and he somewhat delivered thrice in one fortnight, IMO (and feels like a value loser).

After missing the last six cuts - the last one by 25 shots! - Martin took last week off to work on, in his own words, "everything, you know, from the swing, from my putting, to my head which was the biggest thing that I had to work on." To have one good round is progress, but even in his post-round interview, he was still "not really expecting anything from this week, just try to play the bestic [sic] and try to fight every shot." He is clearly not that confident and if he starts poorly, his game could easily collapse again tomorrow. I'll take Canonica on that basis

Henrik Stenson to beat Andres Romero -105 @ Pinnacle [also availeble @ Unibet and Five Dimes]
With seven top-10 finishes from 11 starts this season, Stenson is a player who tends to carry forward good starts to events. That cannot be said for the erratic Romero whose round contained a double-bogey yet again

He's available at shorter odds than this with ties lose, so there should be some value in Unibet's odds by that measure. Have already given reasons to back Stenson and oppose Green this week and they are just as valid in the third round. Stenson is rightly priced up as a strong favourite

Ross Fisher to beat Oliver Wilson -123 @ Unibet [available widely]
Fisher is playing full of confidence after his performance last week and that is shown by his ball-striking - he ranks 4th in greens in regulation so far this week. And with a better record in this position - over the last 3 seasons he averages less than 69 in the 3rd round when starting in the top-15; two shots better than Wilson - there is a good chance that that he will be contending for back-to-back wins on Sunday
