A pair of frustrated 3-7 teams square off in a Monday night battle, as the San Francisco 49ers head to University of Phoenix Stadium to take on the Arizona Cardinals. San Francisco has won the last two meetings. Bear in mind, the winner of this game could be just a game back in the NFC West.
I believe the 49ers offense, Quarterback Troy Smith and running back Frank Gore will shred the Cardinals defense, but I'm not strongly confident on that prediction. The Cardinals' offense led by Derek Anderson has collapse, whereas Troy Smith is now 2-1 as the starting quarterback for the 49ers.
San Francisco is 3-1 against the spread in the last four clashes against the Cardinals, but they haven?t met since 2009 and the 49ers have covered the spread in their last three Monday night games. As for a wager, I will pass both teams have unpredictable offenses and shaky defenses. Dicey!
