Nope, I aint gonna say it, but summa bitch!! I cant find one reason to bet the raiders in this one. The Raiders went into Philly and beat em, went into Indy and beat em, and in an emotional division battle beat Denver on monday night. This ia a great letdown spot for em. Their injury list is about 20 deep, with peopl banged up.

Not to mention a home divisional dog. Teams lway play harder when they are trying to get to .500.

I think the raiders will come out and look a little rough, and the hawks will probably come out a little tight. I think they will pull out a low scoring game in the end.

Hawks 20-17

Takin Hawks +5 and under

No way bro. I dont' care how injured they are, Seattle is absoloutely pathetic. Come on Trent Dilfer Matt Hasselback? Raiders are the road warriors. Forget this division home dog crap. Oak by 3 td

Raymond_1975,
You're dogging Dilfer? Yeah, the Ravens D was a big factor last season, but so was Dilfer!

How can you count out the home divisional dog "crap". Are you aware of the record in that situation?

Remember last season when OAK was rollin right along, then, about this time of year, SD, who was winless, almost got them on a sunday night?

I see the same thing here. Oaklands injuries will catch up on them tonight, and they will have a letdown.

Good Luck

you can't find one reason to play the raiders?

Try this: They are a superbowl contender and the Seahawks are a far-fetched playoff contender

I'm not trying to rub it in....I was very grateful for that win. I had a good day , regardless of that game.

That's the first time that I went 3-0 on the same game.

Congrazi to Seattle playas. I would still bet Oakland in this situation again. I have the old adage: never ask a bad team to win for you...

That run game was devastating and they took the ball out of hasselbacks hands. Very smart by Holmgren.

Oh well, it was a very small play for me. I love teasers!!!!

Goodluck this week fellas

Took the ball out of Hasselbacks hands????....this kid threw some nice passes...no he isnt a top rated QB but he didnt take the offense into his own hands...he let his team do the job for him...he wasnt out to prove nothing but only get a win....what a smart move on Hasselbacks part...NO I wont beat ya but this team will...the better team doesnt always win...if they did the bookies wouldnt have a place to rest their heads...its a game and anything can happen...gotta luv trends better than a team

Indeed they did take the ball out of Hasselbacks hands. I did not see Hasselback rally the hawks from that kick return. It was the 270 yds rushing from Shawn Alexander. I am not sour grapes here only stating what I saw. Congrats Seattle folks

23 passes to 45 runs seems to me like the ball was taken out of hasselbeck's hands......the best play was the over on this game as it couldda gone either way -- Raiders got up 7 in the second half and failed to get up another score....if they would have it would have been over cuz Sea. wouldda had to have hasselbeck pass the ball....normally Oak DOES put you away and it was an abberation that they did not tonight.....Raymond_1975 had the best side but unfortunately the best side does not win.....i didn't play either side so i am just callin it like i saw it.....Oak got up by a TD in the 3rd quarter and that was certainly not out of the norm.....like i said the abberation came when they didn't shut the door and make Hasselbeck keep the Sea. in the game......

congrats to Seattle players and condolences to Oak players but i hate to read "i told you so's" after this is over because that is bullsh*t because it was not the right side......

I aint sayin any "I told ya so's", so I feel that I can respond to Dr Freeze. How was Seattle not the right side??? I thought they dominated what looked to be a tired oakland team. Oakland was too tired to get in the face of Alexander and it showed. I listed all the reasons why Seattle was in a good spot here. If being on the right side means picking what the public already knows, well then I need a new hobby...

I don't buy into that "never ask a bad team to win for you" stuff. First off, we aren't asking them to win. Secondly, bad teams cover every week. The NFL is all about taking dogs, esp. divisional home dogs.

Yes....bad teams cover every week. But when it all shakes out, it seems dogs and favorites get about 50-50 covers/losses by seasons end.

This was Seattles time to win, and Oaklands time to lose. Nothing more than that.

That which works one week, will let you down the next. Picking your spots is what makes this game tough.

The right side is the side that wins.
