Is it me or does anyone else think his voice is just so boring to listen to for a football game???? It also seems that they turn down the sound of the crowd now and we only hear him and the booth???? His monotone voice and slow ways are OK for a baseball game, but this was a poor choice in my opinion. Bring back the Tirico/Gruden combo that just seemed more in sync with each other.

Al Michaels is 71, so tirico could easily take over for him in the next yea or two. Tirico and gruden was a nice match, but who knows how tirico and collinsworth would work.

Not ONE other person has an opinion here on this? Just seems crazy quiet in the General Forum:shrug:

I have not listened to a NFL broadcast in years. I record most games and fast forward through commercials.
The days of Marty Glickman are gone.
