:sadwave:

I grew up a 10 minute walk from Sears, Roebuck's .Maury High School is still down the street from where the store was and of course it was a stopping off spot to buy 45's after school.

As the years went buy it became a spot for clothes and other purchases.

But like many Americans I stopped shopping at Sears because their prices were and are still to high for items that can be purchased at big box stores and at WalMart.

The purchase of KMart was a horrible business decision and both Corps have suffered greatly.

Sorry to see it happen but like all these Department Stores they will fall prey to the "on line purchase" business.

Will never understand why people will buy electronics, clothes and other items without either testing or trying them on beforehand...

"You can return it."....the hell w/that

Buying clothes online is one of the best conveniences ever. I usually use Kohl's or Macy's and buy much more than I need. What I don't like I take back to the local branch and they simply add the money back to my card. Stone Cold no brainer for me.

No brainier for me too. Hard to find 2XLT shirts at the local stores. Main reason I hate shopping is I can never easily find things that fit, and this is my whole adult life. Online makes it easy.

Right. The selection is HUGE compared to what you can find in the store that fits.

Exactly, we buy everything we can online. I can order on a Sat nite and have it by noon on Monday. Hell they even deliver on Sundays now!

I never buy clothes online(way too particular about how shit fits)....but I do quite a bit of my clothes shopping at kohls(practically all, aside from formal dress clothes, which I`ll only wear to funerals) ...kohls is the only store I can think of that has a nice selection of reasonable quality casual men`s clothes at a fair price(they go out of bidness I`d probably go bare-assed)...the "macy`s" and "lord and taylors" of the world are shit(who the hell are the buyers for those places?).......

I have 4 of 5 of my appliances that I purchased from Sears. I feel that they are pretty competitive with pricing & sales people a lot more knowledgeable. Hope they make it.

Without you Sears wouldn't have a music department.

Where it is real F ing COLD
I have purchased many things from NFL shops but will no more, bought a jersey, washed it like I regularly do and the fucker ripped across the back a big one, so I was able to easily rip the sleeve by hand and deducted that I got a dud, talked to the lady and she even said that they would give me refund, so I said if that's the case I'll just order a new one to be sent and then they can refund the on they get back and they sent a return label with the jersey they sent. Ok so no refund I call and they say it can take 30 days and i said ok, waited about 35 days and they say oh no refund? I'm like why not and they said its not in their policy, "all items returned have to be returned in same condition they were sent out." I said its not my fault the material wasn't good and he said I'm sorry that's the policy and I'm like I wouldn't have returned it, I've bought all kinds of shit from them and never a rip or anything. Don't ya think the jersey was made from bad fabric and then he said is there anything else I can help ya with and I just said they lost a customer but a company like that doesn't give a shit.
