An exciting Pacific Division match-up awaits tonight as the LA Lakers host the Seattle SuperSonics.

We have done very will this season betting on Lakers games...by fading them!!

The Lakers have the fourth-worst ATS record in the league covering just 38% of their games.

Seattle has a 10-9 SU and 11-8 ATS road record and will be definitely be motivated tonight coming off a very disappointing 92-84 home loss to the lowly Denver Nuggets on Friday. Center Jerome James and shooting guard Brent Barry are expected back for the Sonics tonight while Vladimir Radmanovic will start at power forward.

There is no doubt a switched-on Lakers team could win this one by double digits, but other than Shaq's fitness the main problem appears to be motivation....LA are just 3-10 ATS following a SU win. It seems as though they want to just cruise through the regular season and then try and turn it on come play-off time.

Right now the Lakers don't deserve to be this heavily favored against a rested team with a winning road record.

The Sonics have covered seven of the last nine in this series and it's worth noting that in their last six times these teams have met in LA, Seattle is 4-2 SU and 5-0 ATS (one game was not lined).

Although LA might win this game SU they are a horrible 7-14 ATS as favorites this season and we expect that poor record to continue tonight.
