Morning folks.....bummed the season is ending.....here's a discussion point for today.

I heard that in the Bama-Gator SEC Title Game, that the line would be Florida -8.5.

Heard that before any of yesterday's games took place.....now that Florida has won thier sixth SEC game in a row by 28 or more points, perhaps that line grows.

Anyway any thoughts on:

Florida -8.5 to -10 over Bama.

Thanks. I will hang up and listen.

If it's that high i will be all over Bama... The tide is very physical up front on both lines and can control the game with there running game.... thus keeping the florida offense of the field... Bottom line the Gators are not as physical as the Tide....

Bama's strengths are physical offensive and defensive fronts. The reason LSU rushed for over 200yds and and nealry won despite Lee's 4 INTs is that LSU matches up well in the trenches w/ the tide. Florida will also match up well up front, but Tebow is slightly less mistake prone than Jarret Lee.:mj07: Fla by 2 tds imo, but I would not likely play -8 or -10 due to my aversion to big favs.

I had a great time with my boy RollTide when he was here in Knoxville, but the Gators are going to beat the holy hell out of Bama.

As a matter of fact, the Gators are going to beat the holy hell out of anyone who gets in their way

Once again, thanks for the hospitality Skip. My buddy and I had a blast.

I'm a realist and know that Florida is the most talented team in college football. I'm not ready to concede just yet, but it will take a mighty strong effort from my Tide to pull off the upset.

Still, if they finish 12-1 and go to the Sugar Bowl, it's a successful season. In August I thought 9 wins would be tremendous, so this is icing on the cake!

saw that bama would be a dog to everybody (big dog, 7+ to most)

sc would be favored over everybody (closest lines were ou and fla, 1-2 points)

I concede the SEC is down this year, but FLA beats USC and me thinks they are a fav against them as well. I don't think SC has the offense to stay with FLA and giving up 23 to Stanford doesn't make me think they can hold the Gators down.

I will say that they are the 2nd best team and nothing will change my mind unless Tech upsets Okie. Then, I will be impressed
