i want to play ole miss so bad, obviously they have to win this game to get ncaa berth

line reflects how horribly tenn played against lsu and how bad OM needs this W. however OM coaching is terrible at best and warren and white have been anything but consistent all year long. IF they show up they win, but i can count on one hand the games they have both played well all year. TN has the edge is every category in this game except the backcourt which is usually the most important this time of year. it's either OM or nothing for me

The SEC East was far superior to the SEC West this year and this may be the only time you can get one of the big three from the SEC East in a virtual pick 'em against an SEC West team. The top four teams in the SEC East went a combined 26-0 against the SEC West which includes two wins yesterday by 9 and 10.

Tennessee has wins over arguably the two best teams in the country when they beat Kansas and Kentucky this season. This shows me they can play when the spot light is on. Tennessee has been hot as they have won nine of their last dozen (including four straight) while all three losses came on the road at the other three top SEC East rivals Kentucky, Vanderbilt and Florida. Their final regular season game, they beat the other top team from the SEC West, Mississippi St on the road by 16.

Tennessee has great balance so back to backers should not hurt them. I think they have a clear cut advantage in the front court and can't see anyone from Ole Miss being able to handle Wayne Chism. In the earlier meeting this year between the two teams, Chism had 26 points and 12 rebounds. Yesterday, Chism had another double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds in a low scoring game. I believe he will go off again against Ole Miss. I feel Tennessee went thru the motions yesterday and will have much more energy today.

Yes Mississippi needs the game but that hasn't meant much this year as most of the bubble teams are losing. It may provide extra value on the other team as we know Tennesse is clearly already in while Miss needs this game. The earlier game they played in mid January, Tennesse was a seven point chalk, albeit at home. However it shows the value they had over Ole Miss at the time and not much has changed since then.

Also in a close game, Ill take Bruce Pearl over his counter part down the stretch. May not produce a winner but there's my take and why I think Tennessee will win the game by close to ten.

Early A10.

Early A10.

Adding : Temple the #1 seed in a rout over St Bonaventure, a team who shouldn't have even made it to Atlantic City. By far one of the two worst teams in AC for the tourney and Temple should have the 10 1/2 covered by halftime.

YEP you are right the Rebs DO need this game and the Rebs usually don't play well in games they NEED to win!! We had Tenn beat tyhe last time we played them in Knoxville up by 12 with 6mins to go in the game but lost in OT!! Thanks to the turn overs!! If we do not turn the ball over the way we have ALL year we have a GREAT shot at the W!! It's going to be a good game and we do have the players to get the W if they play to their talent but that is a big IF!! AP (Aneil Polinese) will be back today and that should help if he plays with controll and not street ball like he usually does. But we shall see..........

So far so good as Temple is covering the 10 1/2 by halftime as they lead by 12. Thought it would be a lot more the way the game opened up but a 7-0 run by the Bonnies at the mid point of the half made it respectable. Maybe I should have just suggested the halftime line (-6) since I figured they'd jump out early as stated but we'll see if they hold on and don't get back doored.

Duke 2nd half - 10 wins 30-19 vs Virginia.

Snuck it out but it should have been easier if they knew how to rebound without pushing off down the stretch.

Good post. I went with Ole Miss. Rebs outplayed Vols in knoxville for 35 minutes and collapsed late only to lose in OT. Teams with 1st round byes have not fared well this week, but Ole Miss is one of the few bye teams that needs the win to get into the field of 64. Going to the bar to catch the rest of this one now.

Good luck going forward:toast:
