Have to love the luck last night with Kansas-OSU Under the total (I marked it as a loss).
Two Southeastern Conference games catch my eye tonight.
The South Carolina Gamecocks (10-5, 0-2 SEC), go into Bud Walton Arena against the Arkansas Razorbacks (10-5, 2-1 SEC) after losing its first two SEC games (at No. 2 Florida 69-60 and a heartbreaking, 51-50, loss to No. 8 Kentucky last Saturday in Columbia). USC led the entire second half until Kentucky hit a jumper with three seconds left to give the Wildcats the victory. Although Arkansas has been one of the league's hottest teams and is in a three-way tie for the early lead in the SEC West, they did lose a 13-point, second half lead in a 75-69 setback at Louisiana State Sunday afternoon. Take USC+6 as they match-up well in all categories.
The Georgia Bulldogs have cracked into the national rankings for the first time since a brief spell in January of last season. Georgia cracked the AP Top 25 for one week last season (ironically, after its double-overtime win over Tennessee) before dropping home games to Kentucky and Florida and tumbling from the polls the next week. Sounds familiar, buzzer beater against Tennessee (this past week) followed by losses (?) to Alabama and on Saturday to Florida. Hmmm. May happen. It has been 71 years since Georgia had this much early success. Take the Crimson Tide +2
