Anybody got any hints on the SEC this week. I don't see why Kentucky is only a 4 point fav. at MSU. State is terrible this year but the KU loss to South Carolina at home has me worried.
Auburn -2 at Ole Miss. OM is not playing well after back to bacik road losses at Arkansas and Bama. Auburn surprised LSU without Carnell and playing Campbell at QB. LSU kills Florida, Florida beats AU, and AU beats LSU??? I think AU should win but Manning could have a big day and I don't know why the line is so low.
UF-UGA. Georgia is coasting. Florida is down this year. Could this be the game UF puts it all together Again, line -2 UGA. Why so low. Tickets are split 50-50 in Jacksonville so neither team has the home field.
Ut at USC. USC has had a week off. They played good at Kentucky. Holtz . UT is on hard times . After being in Knox. last week, which I enjoyed, players were blaming coaches and vice versa. Can UT possibly bounce back this week after loosing to UGa , Uf, and Bama in the same year and the Hurricanes coming to Knoxville next week. Line was SC-2
Bama -Vandy. Vandy always plays Bama tough and 22 points is a lot but I think this year Bama is hitting on all cylinders and we usually play Vandy early in the season and this year we've caught them late and they're not as healthy as usual. Thank Bama covers.
Anybody got any suggestions on these plays? if I had to pull the trigger today i would go with Bama-22, USC-2, KU -4,UGA -2 Ole Miss +2 at home

My plays:

MSU - off the bye, MSU should be favored here. MSU has faced some of the best pass D's in the country. I'll concede that Greene is a fine passer, but the UK pass D looked awful last week, and State's O will get untracked.

AU - have no idea how Ole Miss got so overrated, but AU's pass D is good enough to slow down Manning. It was the rush D that let them down versus Arky. AU always has better talent than Ole Miss.

USC - Clausen's injury limits him, but rush D is solid for UT. Gut says it's USC's year.

Would ordinarily take Vandy in this situation, but the pass D is too wretched.

UF's problem is obviously not a lack of talent -- it's that they're bummed that SOS is gone. They got up for the UT game and played well, and they'll play well here. I'll stay away from this one.

i think 22 is a little too much. i know we're coming off a win and we are playing better but that is still a lot of points to give bama. i think vegas is trying to lure everyone into thinking that bama is on some huge winning streak and that we can't be beat. i mean we beat tenn. last week but that doesn't mean that every team from here on out is going to be easy. vandy does put up a fight. i think we'll beat them for sure but i don't know about 22.

ROLL TIDE!

I'm also fairly focused on the SEC, and I find myself agreeing with all your sides. The two I am already down on are Kentucky and South Carolina. I agree with your reasoning -- MSU is terrible and Tenn is overrated.

They have been focused and intense in Oxford this week. No Reb wants to lose to a Tubberville coached team. It'll be a war. Ole Miss is undefeated at home.

I'm leaning toward Georgia but, like you, wondering why the line is so low. If Georgia were favored by 7 it'd make sense.

I almost never wager on Vanderbilt games. They are too unpredictable and you never know how motivated their opponent will be. You would think Bama would blow them away, but will the Tide care enough?

Good luck to you!

AU may have a problem?

AU may have a problem?

just talked to a friend in Auburn and the "flu" has made the rounds this week on the plains. Many players unable to practice today and who knows who will get it by the weekend? Thinking OM may be looking a little better;) :)
