Southeastern Conference commissioner Roy Kramer on Monday upheld the suspension of Georgia center Steve Thomas, who was ejected for fighting with two minutes left in Saturday's 75-72 loss at Auburn.
Thomas, a sophomore from Carrollton, will miss Tuesday night's game against No. 6 Florida in Stegeman Coliseum. The No. 21-ranked Bulldogs trail the Gators by a half-game in the SEC East. Thomas will return for Saturday's home game against No. 10 Kentucky.
Kramer also upheld the suspension of Auburn center Kyle Davis, who punched Thomas in the back of the head. Thomas then chased Davis to the Tigers' bench, starting a brief fracas near midcourt. Kramer and John Guthrie, the SEC's supervisor of officials, reviewed tape of the incident on Monday morning
