So only two lines on games today.........

I was hoping my beloved rebels would have a line. I thought it might come out fairly low or even put the rebs as an underdog and they play strong at home but anywho...........on to the money makers..................

Louisiana Teach and Alabama aquare off this evening. Alabama is minus 13. That is a lot for team who could be the most overratted team in the SEC, don't get me wrong they have talent but they seem to tlack the heart and just an overall feel for the game. This could develop as the season progress so don't cont them out of every game or a possible SEC run. This will be a new experience for the LA Tech, as to they have not match-up to anyone as big and as fast as Alabama. I think La Teach will struggle to score once more and the pressure of the Alabama size will get to them, if bama can keep their pressure on and the killer instinct going they can blow this up. If they allow La Tech to keep it slow and *yawn* exciting, then Alabama will only post a 10 spot on them. I think Alabama needs a good statement and away they will go, plus a can't look for a team that has struggled a few times to a new experience to cover a spread, it just isn't easy to swallow.....
Alabama -13

On to Houston and LSU, good to play as to this is on the tube this evening, you can watch my pick go away in the wind. Now Going from the most overrated early in Alabama to the most underrated team in LSU. LSU has pulled the upset on WV and worked their way into the polls. This is one of the best shooting teams when they are on fire and I believe Brady has this program where has wanted it the past nine seasons. Now Houston is coming off the VCU lost, an upset indeed, and a very poor showing by Houston. They will bouce back and with the taste of beating LSU last year still on the tips of some of their lips, they will come out hungry. Yet, the biggest component for this game is whether the young LSU team can handle the Houston pressure. If LSU limits their turnovers due to the Houston heat on defense then they shoot the lights down and win this with a ten spot plus two fashion.
LSU -9

So I wish to I could find the Ole Miss line, if you see one let me know and if your wondering what I think: Ole Miss by 5, depends on the late foul shooting............. I'll answer question until a little before seven then that is where I'll be.........................

Houston
Let me fill you on some on Houston after seeing the VCU lose.
They are a young team. The PG Lanny Smith played with an injured ankle that is still giving him trouble for tonites game.
They built a 33-22 lead on VCU at the half. For the most part this is a typical Penders(jack up 3's and play pressure hack defense, but allow easy baskets). The 3's were never falling in this game and when VCU got rolling Coog High was in trouble.

This is a young Houston team that will make more mistakes than they will create. I think LSU smacks them around by about 20 unless Houston shoots lights out from 3. Then I think LSU wins by 7-12 which could still cover.

Lsu had the game until they decided to let the pressure get them and let Houston on that 16-3 run, are you kidding me. This is why we play the game. Alabama did what I thought in the ten spot, should have stayed with the alternative outcomes rather than depending on both teams to play well to cover. Really didn't see Houston actually pulling out the win.......................
